Today marks the 5-year anniversary of one of the most bizarre endings in PA state playoff history. In what is forever known as the "Hershey Kiss" game, Abington Heights topped Bonner Prendergast 56-51 in OT to advance to the 5A Boys State Championship.

The Lackawanna League has representatives in the Girls 1A (Mtn View), 2A (Montrose), 3A (Dunmore), and 4A (Scranton Prep) state semifinals! Boys 2A (Holy Cross) represented as well.

Congratulations to Derek Williams who won the 50 Yard Freestyle PIAA District 2 3A Championship yesterday with a time of 22.55! Derek has qualified for States and will compete today (Day 2) in the 100 Yard Freestyle & 4x100 Freestyle Relay @ Wilkes-Barre Area HS.
