๐จ MORE THAN THREE DECADES OF SERVICE. ONLY ONE PROMOTION!
Thousands of Central GST Superintendents continue to face career stagnation, with many retiring after decades of service with just one promotion.

๐น Comprehensive cadre restructuring and better promotional opportunities
๐น Uniform implementation of court judgments
๐น Resolution of the 01.01.1996 pay fixation issue and payment of admissible arrears

Nearly 2,000 Superintendents in CGST Mumbai Zone remain ad-hoc, as the review exercise allowed by Hon'ble CAT on 09.08.2023 is still incomplete. 1,000+ have served 4 yrs yet are denied NFU. We urge Mumbai CCA to hold Review DPCs & clarify NFU without delay. #AIASCT
CBIC must stop in personam implementation. The Subramaniam and 1.1.96 cases are glaring examples. creating failed 50,000 litigations are not an achievement!. Is the Fin. Min creating work for courts and advocates ? @cbic_india@FinMinIndia@indSupremeCourt@AIASCT_AIB
@uditgupta_ca@cbic_india@FinMinIndia@AIASCT_AIB Inspectors alone are not the Department and should not be made scapegoats. Allegations can be made against anyone, from politicians to judges and police. Does that justify denying promotions to an entire cadre. Who are standing with all financial criminals?
GST Inspectors of CBIC retiring with just ONE promotion in their entire career is a grave injustice. It is impossible to find another government service in India where employees face such worst career stagnation #cbic fails @cbic_india@FinMinIndia@AIASCT_AIB
AIASCT has announced to launch a Phase-wise Agitational Programme to press for the resolution of long-pending service-related demands of the Executive Cadre, including AISL & DPC, cadre restructuring, regularisation of ad hoc promotions, NFU and other critical issues.
Letters informing the concerned authorities have been submitted.
As the first step of the phase-wise programme, members awaiting promotion will submit individual representations through proper channel, seeking early release of the AISL for 2014 and 2015 and convening of the DPC at the earliest.
