Lamentable
@1brianr@TGDefinition Maybe some games do have but the point is it doesn't make you better than a player with a steering wheel. Unlike AA that makes you better than MNK players with no efforts at all.
@TGDefinition Yeah same level experienced drivers wouldn't have an advantage with assistances... But the AA issue will remain since it helps the gaming companies sell more copies of their games to casual gamers. They only want $$$, they abandonned us MNK players since the first cod4MW.
CoD on PC never used to be plagued by controllers and aim assist. It used to be a haven of skill only, the odd roller players you faced against were good from natural skill alone as no assistance was given. (BO3/4 were the only exceptions and it was disgusting facing them too)
Now this forced crossplay nonsense came along and ruined everything by having aim assist on PC forcing people to play against unbannable cheaters & there’s no way of opting out of cross input play.
MnK folk have the right to complain, they’ve literally been phased out and thrown in the bin.
If the kiddies can have borderline cheats just because they’re incapable of playing on a skillful input, then input based/locked matchmaking is 100% required.
Aim assist is a problem in modern fps games & if you can’t see that, you’re either ignorant, too dumb to see it, or too bad at the games in question to realise how much it’s doing for you.
