Spent about a month editing & scripting this video, I came back to the licences after 6 odd months away to try and gold the last few.
"Can You GOLD All S Licences in Gran Turismo 4 Without Brakes?"
Anyone familiar with the series, will know just how hard this is...
@japan_nobunaga “How are you” is a greeting in the US, UK, and Australia from what I gathered from visits to 2 & living in the UK.
It’s hilarious breaking the social contract and taking it literally just to see people not expect to have to actually take it as a question.
@TheJoeySwoll I love that you constantly put people in their place when it’s deserved.
It’s tragic that every single day without fail you can find people like this however.
Out here replaying it on Windows XP.
Unlocked the "nightmare" difficulty & it's still a piece of cake. Modern tech makes it too easy to be quick on these old RTS games
I've been thinking about getting back into an RTS game that I swore I only played a few years ago.
I looked at the date of the most recent savegame, 2017...
Turns out I don’t have the patience for learning coding or messing with sequences to figure out what’s breaking the game.
Instead I opted to get a windows xp VM working again, & the levels work there ofc.
Only annoying part is transferring the saves over each time I find a level that doesn’t work. Small price to pay for nostalgia however!
I managed to get a game from 2000 working using a mixture of dgvoodoo and other shenanigans. The game is called “The three Kingdoms: Fate of the dragon”
It worked until it didn’t, there’s one level in the game that simply won’t load & it’s right near the end of one of the campaigns.
Let’s say I wanted to deep dive and really try to get this working, anyone got any tools, videos or anything to read they’d recommend for trying to toy with old software?
