Grateful for amazing volunteers like Tim and Judi Walton and their love and support for all #AkronInternational students. Here's what they're blessed with as we look back on this #ThankfulThursday.

[Akron Internationals @AI_Akron]

In times of uncertainty, Abby Morris shares how her faith in Jesus keeps her steady and grateful in the midst of the storm. That, and a good internet connection 😁#ThankfulThursday

What are you thankful for today?

[Akron Internationals @AI_Akron]

Great thoughts from Mike Becker for our #ThankfulThursday post. His hope and outlook on life are inspiring.

[Akron Internationals @AI_Akron]

One of our volunteers, @mitchellacooper talks about what he's grateful for today, especially given everything we're experiencing right now. What are you thankful for? #ThankfulThursday

Here's some encouragement from Jesus about why we don't need to be anxious or afraid. Let's follow guidelines and advice to keep you, family, and friends safe, but remember-- Jesus can take away your anxiety. #MondayMotivation #AkronInternationals

Our volunteer team is coming together (virtually) to find fun, new ways for us all to stay connected during this time. What are some ideas you have or have experienced?

[Akron Internationals @AI_Akron]

Nowruz Mubarak to our Persian friends today. Though we're 'social distancing' from each other, I pray that today is rich, joyful, and that God will grant you and your families a peace that surpasses all understanding in this anxious time.

FYI

[Akron Internationals @AI_Akron]

While we've never seen the moon actually turn blue... The phrase refers to something that doesn't happen very often.

Typically you only see the full moon once a month, but sometimes it happens twice, which is called a "blue moon." #PhraseOfTheDay #AkronInternationals

[Akron Internationals @AI_Akron]

Did you know today is #NationalNappingDay? Not sure how to celebrate?

Here's a hint:

[Akron Internationals @AI_Akron]

Here's a phrase you may not have heard: "Dressed to the nines." It's what you say about someone who is dressed up very nicely and looks great!
#PhraseoftheDay #AkronInternationals

[Akron Internationals @AI_Akron]

Someone who is "barking up the wrong tree," it means they are making a wrong assumption about someone or something.

For instance, someone might say, "If you think I know how to build a new house, you're barking up the wrong tree!"

#PhraseOfTheDay #AkronInternationals

[Akron Internationals @AI_Akron]

Ps. 19 - "...and the sky above proclaims his handiwork." Enjoy this this day that you have been given! #MondayMotivation #AkronInternationals

[Akron Internationals @AI_Akron]

Ever hear the phrase “a penny for your thoughts”? This is said when you want to know what another person is thinking, usually because they have been quiet for a while. #PhraseoftheDay #AkronInternationals
