@KevinMcCurdy I am really trying to stay on the fence and not say anything about this Formenton saga, but it keeps getting harder and harder to stay neutral! Dafuq is the Terrible Duo (Bowman and Jackson) trying to pull here? π
We wouldnβt be here if the universe were even slightly different.
This is what scientists call the fine-tuning problem.
The more we study the cosmos, the clearer it becomes: the physical laws of our universe are finely tuned β balanced precariously atop a hill.
If the strength of gravity were just a fraction weaker, galaxies wouldnβt form. If the strong nuclear force were slightly stronger, stars wouldnβt burn. If the expansion rate of the universe were off by one part in 10βΆβ°, matter would either collapse into a single point or spread so thin no stars could ever ignite.
@QueenMother1976 I'd appreciate trigger warnings for this kind of content that brings back harrowing memories of handwritten 10-page papers! I don't think I have fully recovered from the trauma! π
