A Nation Losing Its HUMANITY.
Some events shatter a society so deeply that words are no longer enough to express the shock; the brutal killing of a teacher and the horrific rape and murder of an elderly woman are among such tragedies. These are not isolated incidents but signs of deeper moral and social decay.
How did we get here? How did we reach a point where teachers are hunted and killed, and the elderly—custodians of memory and wisdom—suffer such dehumanising violence?
This is more than a security crisis; it is a failure of collective humanity. We have become desensitised, consuming tragedy briefly and moving on, allowing indifference to normalise the unacceptable.
To the families affected, I share in your grief. But grief alone is not enough.
We must demand accountability and urgent systemic change. If such atrocities no longer move us to action, then we risk losing our shared humanity. -PO

This is not the gotcha you think it is. You said his stance on those political issues were underwhelming, thats your opinion, what would have made it convincing for you?
No one has said he is the messiah that would transform the country, but on thing is clear, the main issues that affect this country which to me that we are a borrowing nation, we have a weak civil service, we have a very poor spending system, our problem has never actually been generating revenue hence why the tax bill was not necessary, it was always a spending problem. All of these issues are things that Peter Obi solves naturally. He is also going to be advised by seasoned policy makers on other issues of the economy and no all the men circulating him are not necessarily going to occupy offices.
If you deny that he does not need these alliances to become president then you’re not being honest. This is the only candidate, who since he left public service has never been arrested for once for misuse of public funds, has a clean international reputation. I am puzzled as to why you would even place him on the same pedestal?
Lastly, this man has given more to the Nigerian health sector as a private citizen than the Nigerian government has done since the last election, Blessing one of the things we have lacked for the past 8 years in the office of the president is not the best policy makers, not the best understanding of taxes too, there are advisers for that, what we have lacked is a president with Empathy blessing! That is the first requirement for a multifaceted country like Nigeria. What we need is a president with Empathy, that is what ensures the killings stops! I don’t know how you came to your conclusion but if you’re really open to being objective please read through my points. Shalom.
This… the sideways passes, we don’t pressure opposition CBs enough. Theres no clear attacking pattern. We cannot effectively utilize counter attacks. Our defense has brought us this far.
