Some media persons are portraying ICC in the wrong way. Everyone is questioning why India got separate venues and why Bangladesh did not.
Here is the simple reason for that:
India - Pakistan case:
1. Since 26/11 attacks, India has never visited Pakistan because it was found that Pakistan Govt. had a role in that attack.
2. Pakistan is not a safe country for visiting teams. For more than a decade after the attack on the Sri Lankan team, no country toured Pakistan due to security reasons.
3. Pakistan sees India as its biggest enemy, so sending Indian players to Pakistan would be like pushing them into possible terror attacks.
These are very strong reasons why India did not visit Pakistan. Any other country would have done the same in such a situation.
India - Bangladesh case:
1. Bangladesh tours India every year without any security issues.
2. India has been hosting ICC tournaments for decades without any problems.
3. BCCI banning Bangladesh players from the IPL is India personal decision and has no link with international cricket, as IPL is an Indian domestic tournament.
4. Bangladesh wants to take IPL revenge in international cricket by pulling out of the T20 WC, which makes no sense.
ICC took a 100% correct decision by giving fair time to the BCB to rethink their decision, but they refused due to ego.
If BCCI had agreed to Bangladeshi demands, we would never see stable ICC tournaments in South Asia in the future.
Anyone who wants to portray ICC and Jay Shah as villains because India got separate venues, but questions why Bangladesh did not, is either Pakistani or not aware of the context. ICC has taken a very good decision, and I am with them on this. ๐
This was a well-planned negative PR. After the 2023 WC, Rohit Sharmaโs image has been established as a player who focuses on performance, not PR.
So, when Rohit Sharma was going through a low phase in Test cricket, a player named Mr. Fix It wanted the captaincy from him. That was not possible without negative PR, so a well planned negative PR campaign was staged.
If Rohit Sharma had to do PR, he would have been doing it for years. But no, suddenly out of nowhere, Rohit Sharma who has never met Vidya Balan and has no relation with Bollywood, had Bollywood actors posting for him.
- One stupid person on Twitter edited an image showing that Vidya Balan posted a WhatsApp screenshot of a text, and all paid pages shared that fake news.
- The second fake news they spread was that Vidya Balan and Rohit Sharma are managed by the same company. But Rohit Sharma is managed by Rise Worldwide (Reliance), which manages only sportspersons and has no connection with Bollywood.
If you search โVidya Balan Bollywood friendsโ on Google and do some research about Mr. Fix It, you will understand why this negative PR was done against Rohit.
Real Rohit Sharma fans know that he doesnโt need any PR to stay relevant.

This year just keeps getting tougher for me, nothing seems to be going right. Every time I try to move on from one setback, a new problem shows up again ๐
As most of you know, about few months ago my bag was stolen in my PG. It had some cash and my office laptop. And today, while travelling from Tiruvannamalai to Chennai on a government bus, it happened again. I mistakenly took a small nap and in that short time, my bag was stolen. My only mistake was keeping it on the top rack. I have no idea how I could be this careless. I'm honestly ashamed of myself and now I've lost another office laptop along with some clothes.
I truly don't understand how people can live peacefully after stealing someone elseโs belongings. And once again, I'm the one who has to face all the consequences. ๐
Stay safe, everyone.
Be very careful and alert wherever you travel.
