5 Days Banking is not just a demand—it is a long-pending need.
AIBOBOA stands firmly for 5 Days Banking in the banking sector.
Modern banking, digital services and changing work practices make this reform both relevant and necessary.
5 Days Banking — A step towards better work-life balance and a more modern banking system.

8.86 lakh employees in 2012-13.
7.58 lakh by March 2025.
Business past Rs 283 lakh crore.
Record profits, over a lakh fewer hands and still six day per week.
5 day banking is not a concession. It is arithmetic that caught up long ago

Honest negotiation efforts signaling 5 days of work week proved crucial to boosting morale; implement it to maintain that spirit. #5DayBankingNow#AIBOC@PMOIndia https://t.co/WPjsIqCxyv
Every 24x7 banking service has a banker behind it and a family waiting at home. We agreed to the 5-day week in March 2024 and accepted longer weekday hours. The regulator, the insurer and the Government all work 5 days.
Our demand is just. The delay is not.
#5DayBankingNow #AIBOC @PMOIndia
Dear Government & DFS Officials,
Accepting a genuine and legitimate demand should not be viewed as the Government “giving in” or “bowing down”–“सरकार झुक गयी!”
Rather, it demonstrates that the Government is positive, sensitive, responsive, and genuinely concerned about the welfare of its employees.
This is what good governance is all about.
Please don’t make a genuine employee issue a matter of ego.
Listen. Respond. Honour the Commitment.

Bankers keep India connected 24×7.
But behind every transaction, target and deadline is a human being, with a family, responsibilities and a life beyond the branch.
A 5-day week was agreed in March 2024, with bankers accepting longer working hours from Monday to Friday.
The demand is reasonable. The commitment is proven. The delay is difficult to justify.
Implement 5-Day Banking now.

Bank employees should not have to resort to strikes for an agreement that was made in March 2024; 5-day banking must be approved! #5DayBankingNow#AIBOC@PMOIndia

An agreement must be honoured. A reward system must be fair.
#5DayWeekandFairPLI
The 5 Day Work Week for bank employees was agreed in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. Its implementation cannot remain pending indefinitely.
At the same time, a unilateral and discriminatory PLI framework that divides the workforce must give way to a fair, transparent and inclusive system for all employees.
Every achievement of our banks is the outcome of collective effort.
Recognition too must reflect that collective contribution.
We seek no privilege, only implementation of an agreed commitment, equality in reward and dignity at work.
@PMOIndia
India’s Bank employees seek two things rooted in fairness and dignity at work.
#5DayWeekandFairPLI
The demand for a 5 Day Work Week in banks is not new. It already stands agreed upon in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. What remains is its long-pending implementation.
At the same time, the unilateral and discriminatory PLI system must be abolished and replaced with a fair, transparent and inclusive framework for all employees, recognising the collective effort behind every institution’s performance.
Hardworking bank employees are not asking for privilege. They are asking for implementation of an agreement and equality in reward.
A motivated banking workforce strengthens Indian banking and the nation.

@SwiggyCares@SwiggyInstamart
Worst experience with instamart. I ordered for a product and they gave it in open, unsealed, and soiled condition with missing items.
When asked in support they said certain things are beyond our control and will take as feedback. #fake#swiggy
