[Victoria @tori_vee_]

GText, founded by Stephen Akintayo, has started bullying and intimidating me simply because I asked for the three months’ salary they owed me.

I was blocked by the founder months ago after I repeatedly requested payment, and despite several attempts to resolve the matter, I was still not paid until I spoke publicly about it and the public pressure helped.

I have nothing to apologize for. Asking for my legitimately earned salary is not an offence.

What seems to be upsetting them now is that other former staff who are also owed money have started speaking up and asking for what they are owed.

I will not be bullied, intimidated or pressured into silence for speaking about my own experience and asking for money I worked for.

I stand by what I said, and I will continue to address this matter through the appropriate channels.

[FESTUS OGUN @mrfestusogun]

Stephen Akintayo’s GTEXT must immediately cease and desist from compelling @tori_vee_ to make a public apology.

Expecting a staff whom you owed 3 months salary and only paid the outstanding indebtedness after a viral social post, to make “formal apology” is callous and diabolical. You forced her to delete the viral post and still expected her to make an apology?

We stand in solidarity with Victoria and would resist this attempt by Gtext to bully, harass and intimidate her for exercising her legitimate right to freedom of expression in the digital space.

At 32 I was editing Papa Ajasco and Super Story, trying to become a director.

One night officers who had been drinking shot me through my car. I am 47 now. The hand is dead. I edit with my left hand for $10 and $20 so my children can eat. I won in court.

The police have ignored the judgment since 2015. The officer’s name is in their own report. Ayuba Philip ID 257745.

Please tag em until @TunjiDisu1 & @CspIniedu see this impunity. Thank you

Join me tomorrow as I address a critical question for Nigeria’s future: Can Nigerian entrepreneurs power the next decade of growth?

I’ll explore what it will take to move from survival to scale, build stronger institutions and create more productive jobs.

@yadeggss @Boet_Themba nigeria? you have no idea what you're talking about.

[The Vine @Thevine_ntwk]

They call me brainwashed for going to church every week and rejecting society,

But this supposedly the "freedom" they want me to abandon Jesus for. I'd rather be cancelled by society, than be seen in these kinda settings.

I love my brain washed 🙂

11 rounds of chemotherapy. 💔

Looking at how far my sister has come and everything she has had to endure fighting cancer, I honestly just want to see her win this battle. So much pain, yet she is still fighting.

Please don’t give up on her. We’ve come too far already. Help us get Lauretta to the finish line.

Call for help.

My mum was hit with a stroke in may 2024.

Since then our lives haven't remained the same. My family have spent all our savings yet her condition hasn't changed.

She has severe BP challenge, she has diabetes. Which has gone on to take a toll on her kidneys.

[Mr. Scale @AJ_Kehinde]

@SandraOkali why? 😂

[Tomori @tomori8701]

Driving home, 2011. Checkpoint. Drunk policeman.

3 gun shots, one bullet punched through my car boot into my right hand.

That hand once edit, animated, paid bills and fed my family. Overnight it became dead weight.

Career gone. Marriage cracked. Mind still bleeding daily.I sued the Nigeria Police.

2015: Federal High Court ordered them to fund reconstructive surgery to restore my life.

Eleven years later: zero naira, zero apology, zero accountability.

I still can’t fully use the hand they destroyed. Still begging strangers so I don’t lose it forever.

The Nigeria Police that shot me ignores the court. Who protects the rest of us?

@Catchoris selling handouts.

Sustainable growth means the organisation must become stronger as revenue grows.

More customers + the same weak structure = bigger problems.

Let me know if you have questions.

[Mr. Scale @AJ_Kehinde]

Your business may be growing. But is the organisation underneath it growing too?

Many founders assume revenue growth means the business is getting stronger. That is not always true.

[Mr. Scale @AJ_Kehinde]

Ten customers can be managed informally. One hundred customers require systems.

A five-person team can rely on the founder. A fifty-person team cannot.

[Scale NXT @Scalenxtafrica]

When you pay ₦35,000 for a DON’T DIE ticket, what do you actually get?

• A business that can run beyond you
• A 12-month execution plan
• Systems that make you relevant

The real question isn’t the cost of the ticket, but what your business stands to lose if nothing changes.

[Scale NXT @Scalenxtafrica]

Strong businesses aren’t built on hard work alone.

They’re built on structure, leadership, and the ability to thrive beyond the founder.

That’s why Dr. Emmanuel Aihevba is joining us at FLA 2.0: DON’T DIE.
