नाशिकमधील खराब रस्त्यांमुळे अनेक विद्यार्थ्यांना UPSC परीक्षा केंद्रावर पोहोचायला उशीर झाला. पालकांनी विनंती केली की गोदावरीचे पाणी आणून तुमचे पाय धुतो पण मुलांना पेपरला बसू द्या पण काही उपयोग झाला नाही. परिणामी 100-150 विद्यार्थी UPSC परीक्षेपासून वंचित राहिले. याला जबाबदार कोण?

इंग्रज गेले पण देशात आज सुद्धा सरकार आणि जनता यांच्यात फार अंतर आहे. कायदे सगळे ब्रिटिशांचे आहेत, लोकांना त्याचे ज्ञान नाही. आज अचानक @Tukaram_IndIAS आज सक्रिय झालेत पण सामान्य उत्पादकांचे प्रशिक्षण करणे हे कुणाचे काम आहे? ब्रिटिशांनी अश्याच प्रकारे सामान्य भारतीय उत्पादकांना देशोधडीला लावले. आम्ही गावात छोट्या दूध उत्पादकांकडून दूध घेतो त्यांना अश्या लायसन, फायसन, पद्धत यांचे ज्ञान सुद्धा नसते. ती जबाबदारी आमची नाही म्हणून सरकार आणि अधिकाऱ्यांनी कायद्यावर बोट ठेवणे ही हुकूमशाहीच आहे. @CMOMaharashtra @Dev_Fadnavis

वर्षभर ऑनलाइन पद्धतीने परीक्षा होणार नाही, ही देवेंद्र फडणवीस साहेबांनी वारंवार मांडलेली भूमिका विद्यार्थ्यांच्या विरोधात आहे. ऑनलाइन परीक्षा घेण्यासाठीच भिमनवार साहेबांना ताकद दिली गेली आहे आणि समिती देखील ऑनलाईनच्या बाजूचीच भूमिका पुढं रेटणार असेल तर समितीचे पुढचे दौरेच विद्यार्थी होऊ देणार नाहीत. त्यामुळे आपण ऑनलाईन परीक्षेच्या विरोधातील विद्यार्थ्यांची भावना समजून घ्यावी.

एक वर्षच काय, पुढचे शेकडो वर्षे सुद्धा #MPSC परीक्षा ऑनलाइन होऊ दिली जाणार नाही. मग कोणीही येऊ द्या आणि कितीही ताकद लावू द्या…

यदि किसी ने बिनोद साहनी की हत्या इस फेसबुक पोस्ट के लिए कर दी तो यह अलार्मिंग बेल होनी चाहिए उन सारे अंबेडकरवादियों के लिए जो इससे भी घटिया लिखते रहते हैं। इसी जातिवाद और हिन्दूघृणा की अग्नि में मोदी के तुष्टिकरण की नीति ने हमें ला खड़ा कर दिया है।

जब किसी भी बात की अति हो जाती है तो समाज इसी तरह की अवैध प्रतिक्रिया देने लगता है। यह हत्या महीं होती यदि पुलिस लगातार ऐसे पोस्ट करने वालों पर ईशनिंदा कानून या अन्य कानूनों के माध्यम से कार्रवाई करती रहती। ऐसे कितने नवबौद्ध हर घंटे देवी-देवताओं को ले कर लिखते रहते हैं।

हाल ही में एक जाटव को इसलिए गोली मारी गई क्योंकि वो किसी जाट को ‘मोदी एक्ट’ में फँसाने की धमकी दे रहा था।

The disturbing part of Swara’s argument is that she is blind to the fact that Khilji and his gang would do the exact same thing that Swara accused Bhansali of doing but in the most literal and grotesque manner - reduce the Rajput womenfolk to their private parts - and for life. Rape survivors have the right to live in dignity after the ordeal but that life of dignity was not available to these women and they knew it.

जौहर एक विराट प्रतिकार है।

बलात्कारियों के झुण्ड के हाथ आने के बाद आजीवन भोगदासी बनकर गरिमाहीन नारकीय जीवन बिताने से बेहतर यदि कोई स्त्री अग्नि चुनती है तो यह एक ऐसा निर्णय है जिससे शील और गौरव प्रस्तूत होता है। ऐसी विलक्षण गाथाएँ इस राष्ट्र को वैभव देती है।

भारत के लिबरल्स इस बात पर चिंतित हैं कि उन स्त्रियों ने जौहर क्यों किया? किंतु वे यह प्रश्न उन इस्लामिक आक्रांताओं से पूछने की हिम्मत क्यों नहीं कर पाते कि वे आख़िर इतने हवस के भूखे क्यों थे, जिनसे बचने के लिए हज़ारों स्त्रियों को आत्मदाह करना पड़ता था? वह कौनसी विषबेल थी, जिसके वशीभूत होकर वे विधर्मियों की स्त्रियों पर यौन-वर्चस्व स्थापित करने के लिए किसी भी हद तक जा सकते थे?

स्वरा भास्कर आख़िर इस बात से आहत क्यों है कि हिंदू स्त्रियाँ प्यारे मुसलमान शासकों की भोगदासी बन जाने के बजाए मर क्यों गईं?

In both cases rape is violation of bodily autonomy and dignity.
But( and it's a bad but)

Systematic collective conquestial rape carries an additional horror. It is then not a mere sexual violence by a criminal towards a victim, but an organised instrument of conquest.
In this, the individual depravity is compounded by collective terror , enslavement, domination and humiliation. Isiliye systemic wartime sexual violence is a different category of atrocity.

Rape of a 13 year old girl by a criminal demands sympathy and response of a civilized society to rehabilitate her trauma,
But when that 13 year old is facing onslaught of 200 invaders who are hungry to feed on her flesh,
Then jauhar is an act of bravery and defiance, which somehow is beyond your imagination.

Women committing jauhar, wouldn't have been the rape survivors.
Either deliberately or in ignorance, you are equalising two very different things.
Depravity and barbaristic desecration of women by invaders is not comparable to crime of rape.

Literally no one has said that rape survivors don't have right to life.
Neither is anyone advocating for jauhar today.
The Rajput women were not facing rape , they were facing something more sinister, something evil.
