Today, FMGs in Kerala are protesting against the Kerala State Medical Council (KSMC) for its non‑compliance with the rules laid down by @NMC_BHARAT. KSMC is neither granting permanent registration nor accepting the compensation certificate, despite clear national guidelines.
The usual waiting time for securing an internship in Kerala is nearly one year, which adds to the hardship faced by FMGs. These delays and denials have created a pattern of injustice that Kerala FMGs have been enduring for far too long.
Today, we Kerala FMGs are demanding justice, accountability, and immediate action to resolve these issues without further delay. @CMOKerala @aimsa_fmsw@official_aimsa
Hello @NMC_BHARAT,
Isn’t it a mockery of the National Medical Commission that several State Medical Councils openly claim they do not follow NMC guidelines?
States like Kerala, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh are currently denying the NMC clarification issued on 18‑03‑2026, which clearly states that the 6 March notice has been withdrawn, and that the compensation letters already issued by colleges will remain valid.
Students who have taken admission before 18nov 21 will govern by Screening regulation 2002.
Requesting @NMC_BHARAT to conduct a meeting with all State Medical Councils and instruct them to follow the NMC public notices. They should not create their own rules or act like Kings.
#JusticeForFMG
Really thankful to @NMC_BHARAT for understanding and addressing the issues faced by FMGs.
Special thanks to Dr. Raghav Langer sir for his sensible and empathetic approach to this matter.
I would also like to extend my gratitude to Dr. Shubham, Dr. Kanishka, and the National AIMSA-FMSW team — Dr. Samar Kr (Vice President), Dr. Apurva (Convenor) — along with all FMGs, faculty members, and AFA.

Today in Delhi, doctors are staging a protest against the dictatorial conduct of the NMC!
Currently, the NMC seeks to ruin India's future—and it is doing so six years after the COVID-19 pandemic, by enforcing unnecessary regulations linked to that very crisis!
Today, March 16: FMGs rise in peaceful protest at NMC Delhi vs discriminatory March 2026 notice—forcing 2+ yrs physical redo post-COVID online (Indian grads got ZERO penalties)! This bias ends NOW! Withdraw it! #JusticeForFMGs#WithdrawNMCNotice@NMC_BHARAT@official_afa_
The Silence Ends on March 16th! ✊🩺
For too long, Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) have been subjected to a system that feels more like a barrier than a gateway. Date: 16th March. Location: NMC, New Delhi. Theme: Join the Fight for Justice!

FMGs have compensated for the online mode of education, with the same notarised by their universities and respective governments.
Final year studies were completed offline with internship at the university/college.

Protest ✊ Against FMGs Notice
We urge the National Medical Commission to reconsider the recent notice affecting #FMG doctors.
Students studied during the COVID-19 pandemic and followed existing guidelines.
Ensure fair policies for all FMGs.

Health Department of Bihar, please address the issue urgently. Many PG residents and doctors in Bihar have not received their stipend/salary for the last two months. This delay is causing serious financial and mental stress. Kindly release payments immediately.@BiharHealthDept
