The nurse-led Haddix-funded research team co-hosted a successful Advance Care Planning Symposium virtual event in April with the Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association. The symposium had 250 attendees from 10+ disciplines and 17 states.
Recently, Amanda Kirkpatrick, PhD, RN, associate professor of Nursing was inducted as a distinguished fellow into the National Academies of Practice (NAP). Distinguished fellows are a recognized leaders in both their profession and in interprofessional care.
Congratulations to Dr. Kirkpatrick who was inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing during a ceremony in Washington D.C. on October 3!
