The biggest mistake I see prospects make is shooting so hard to solely go D1 and not understand how today’s recruiting cycle works 🗣️
Having D1 aspirations is great, but if you’re going just to say you went, meaning you’re not getting developed & have no film because you don’t play, you’re moving backwards 🔙
Many players transfer because of lack of playtime, development, a better overall opportunity & experience. But then you have those who are solely chasing NILs or just can’t handle adversity 🤷🏾♂️
I’m saying all this to help prospects coming out of high school. Go where you are valued, getting developed, and have an opportunity to legitimately compete to play. Hear me clear you need film to transfer so go where you can get some, not where you’ll be a mannequin on the sidelines 🤷🏾♂️
An offer isn't a split-second decision. It’s a progression. You have to pass three levels of evaluation:
1️⃣ Position/Recruiting Coach (Finds you)
2️⃣ Coordinator (Verifies you)
3️⃣ Head Coach (Offers you)
It’s not stalling. It’s the system.
Class of 2026 recruits. We are starting the recruiting process.
We are looking for serious academic students who take a professional approach to practice.
Players who will 100 percent buy into the culture and will always put the team before self.
Parents & Prospects,
Lock in with a program in the 🏈 recruiting process that loves you for who you are! Don’t chase programs that really don’t want you! #Facts101
Recruiting for the 2026 prospects was tuffer than it was for the 2025 prospects. Opportunities are out there you just have to direct the energy to others programs outside the D1 level.
