A mother who was 5 months pregnant - who'd just found out she and her American citizen fiancee were having a boy - lost her baby after federal agents in a detention center repeatedly denied her pleas for prenatal care.

Lived and worked in Tennessee for years. Detained by ICE for over a month. Forced to sleep on a prison cell floor. Served food with cockroaches. Said she was starving and having stomach pains. Guards told her it was normal. Begged to be deported so at least she could get prenatal care in Guatemala. ICE refused.

She delivered her stillborn baby in front of two guards who shackled her feet. Then, for two days, she wasn't allowed to call her fiancee or talk to anyone. She cried alone, and was deported to Guatemala shortly after the stillbirth.

Postscript AI is LIVE and available for Postscript customers. 🚀🍾

It’s a huge day in Postscript history – I really believe AI use cases are going to change the SMS game for Shopify merchants.

I'm so pumped about this launch is because it's totally aligned to our company mission. We strive to:

1. Be the innovators on the SMS channel. It’s all we do, we need to be the best at it.

2. Make merchants the most money. The culmination of all of our features, strategy, people etc should be that your SMS returns are higher on Postscript than anywhere else.

This launch hits on both of those points directly and I'm so proud of that. Here’s a couple details about the launch that stuck out:

- When we asked @DrSquatchSoapCo to be a part of the early beta, they jumped at the chance. It’s because we’re a trusted partner. They were on one of our first demo calls, and even then, they knew we were onto something. Even though Dr. Squatch is one of the best SMS teams out there (they’ve been meticulously fine tuning their SMS strategy for 5+ years), we still found an 11% lift on EPM in their Abandoned Cart automation. For a 9 figure brand, this is massive.

- Yesterday our entire team was on a Zoom call with Sydney, the Director of Retention at @ridgewallet , to talk about her experience with Postscript AI. She is seeing great results so far and incremental lift. Her hype at the possibilities for the AI features and the direct impact it’s already had got our team so amped up. When our customers are excited, we’re excited.

- AI can and should drive revenue. That is what every ecom marketer really wants. They don’t just want to save a couple of minutes with something that tries to write copy for them that may or may not be close to their actual brand voice. We’ve unlocked this for the community with Brand Center and I can’t wait to see everyone using it.

- Big shout out to the Postscript Product, Design, and Engineering teams. Generative AI has been evolving quickly and watching this team deliver amazing features with innovative technology has been nothing short of amazing. What they’ve got cooked up for the future of the channel is going to be even more mind blowing. And by the way, the next wave of AI innovations are coming in Q3 (yes - in the next couple months).
