#Gibraltar - 23/07 - a gorgeous sunny view of the Rock this morning from Santa Margarita - at 12:30pm, the temperature has warmed to 26 or 27C, in a now moderate South to Southwesterly sea breeze.

#Gibraltar - 6am, 20/07 - it's been another clear, very warm and breezy night of poniente, with winds at the Airport just eased to a gentle West to Southwesterly, but breezier to the South - a tropical night again, with the temperature currently 23C and humidity at 64%.

#Gibraltar and for our followers over nearby Spain - temperatures warming during the week - 14/07:

After the last few days of Poniente brought a dip in temperatures across many areas (excepting locally where Terral winds), firstly inland areas are set to warm up again during this week - reaching 40C+ particularly through the Guadalquivir Valley.

For Gibraltar and along the Costa del Sol, it's a more complicated picture at first with a slack flow covering the area tending to favour East to Southeasterly winds and pegging temperatures mostly closer to average and bringing an increased risk of some low cloud or fog.

Later in the week, however, as the flow begins to return more Westerly, some of that heat extends back down to the coast, with temperatures currently expected to nudge into the low 30Cs for Gibraltar but, elsewhere, into the mid-high 30Cs with 40/ 41C possible on Thursday and Friday in the usual Malaga hot spots such as Coín & Álora.
