Yesterday and today we were allowed out/in by security men at the school's gate, but access remains largely unpredictable and at their discretion.

On this day of remembrance, my appeal is simple:
Government must protect citizens from fear, intimidation and unlawful displacement, regardless of who is behind the pressure.
We are asking for protection, due process and the truth.

What happens when ordinary citizens begin to feel terrorised by the use---or threatened use---of institutional power against them?
Who protects them before the situation becomes irreversible?
