Did you know? London's first purpose-built mosque has stood in Southfields for nearly 100 years.

The Fazl Mosque, meaning "Grace", was opened in October 1926, welcoming 600 distinguished guests, including MPs and international dignitaries.

And this Tuesday, its significance is further recognised. Stay tuned.

🇵🇸 The child’s father pleads with the soldiers:

“Please put him down. I will hold his hand and rake him. Please let him walk."

“I'll take his hand and walk him, let him down. Put him down, I'm going with him."

He tells his son, "You're such a good boy, I'm with you, I'm going with you, it will be ok."

I don’t know the full story or the context to make a judgement, but children should never be treated as adults.

And parents should never let their children participate in any form of protesting or ‘resistance’.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community International, under the guidance of its Caliph Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, launched a global campaign last month #voicesforpeace to bring an end to the war in Gaza and establish peace.

Since then, we've held global forums across the world calling for peace in Gaza including at the UK Houses of Parliament and soon at Capitol Hill.
