10 years. 10 years. I’ve listened to every Dem & never Trump pundit call Trump, Elon and anyone else who voted Republican a Nazi. And now they line up behind Platner, with an actual Nazi tattoo. Unbelievable.
Iran’s terror proxy, Hezbollah, has spent months attacking civilians along Israel’s northern border.
But Israelis are resilient. They will recover, they will flourish, and Israel will ensure its citizens are safe to live their lives.
Tonight is my last night in Glasgow.
It is where I was born. It is where I spent my childhood, where I became a Bar Mitzvah, and where much of my understanding of myself was formed.
Mostly because of my parents, Scotland has always been the constant. No matter where I happened to be living, whether London, Hong Kong, or elsewhere, there was always an assumption that Scotland would be there. It was the place I returned to when life became complicated, uncertain, or challenging. My parents were here. It was familiar. It was home.
Tomorrow, I leave the UK and make Aliyah to Israel.
Over the past few years, I have spent a great deal of time writing, researching, and speaking about Jewish identity, Jewish peoplehood, Jewish indigeneity, and Jewish self-determination. In many ways, that journey led me here. Not because I stopped being British, but because I came to understand more deeply what it means to be Jewish.
Tomorrow I will become an Israeli citizen. I leave with great love for the life my parents gave me here and excitement about the chapter that lies ahead.
Scotland will always be where I am from.
But tomorrow, I go home.
Zul Mohamed, a Pakistani national who hates America, hates our veterans, and has 100+ felony convictions for election fraud is still legally on the ballot in Texas and running for mayor.
The enemy is already inside the gates.
A perfect letter published in Irish Times today:
Ireland, Israel and boycotts
Sir,
– I am disturbed by the furore about Ireland’s forthcoming Uefa Nations League fixtures
against Israel on September 27th and October 4th. Anti-Israel sentiment seems to me uniquely
obsessive in this country, amplified in media and public discourse to a greater extent than
elsewhere outside Israel’s traditional enemies.
Particularly disturbing is the inconsistency of outrage. Last week 28,981 people attended
Ireland v Qatar at the Aviva Stadium. Qatar shelters and finances the leaders of the Hamas
terrorist group, which waged a sickening attack on Israel, and the worst pogrom on Jews since
the Holocaust, on October 7th, 2023 .
In 2021 the Guardian newspaper concluded that more than 6,500 migrant workers from India,
Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka had died in Qatar on construction sites for the
2022 soccer World Cup. Yet there was no protest against Qatar in the Aviva.
Nor are there signs of opposition to the Ireland cricket team’s planned five one-day
internationals against Afghanistan in August, despite the appalling human rights violations of
the ruling Taliban. Women and girls are being systematically erased from public life, education
and healthcare in Afghanistan.
We saw no protests outside the Iranian Embassy in January and February when, according to
international media, about 30,000 civilians were murdered in just three days after protests
against the brutal regime.
Iran sponsors Hizbullah, whose terrorists murdered Pte Seán Rooney in Lebanon in 2022. Iran
and Hizbullah propped up the Al-Assad regime in Syria during the civil war of 2011 to 2024 in
which nearly 600,000 civilians are estimated to have been killed.
I was shocked to see the new Iranian Ambassador being welcomed by President Catherine
Connolly at Áras an Uachtaráin last month.
The civilian death toll in Gaza is a tragedy, and informed criticism of Israel is valid, yet I have
heard few voices criticising Hamas for using innocent Gazans as human shields, refusing them
shelter in their underground tunnels, and operating militarily in schools and hospitals.
What message is Ireland sending to the wider world? That we shrug off the brutalities of
Hamas, Hizbullah, Qatar and Iran while obsessing about Israel, the world’s only Jewish state
and home to half the world’s remaining 16 million Jews, who make up just 0.2 per cent of the
global population?
The continued focus on the forthcoming matches, not least in the Dáil which surely has more
urgent issues to grapple with, feels unbalanced and frankly somewhat unhinged.
Irish people can claim all we might that anti-Semitism and Israelophobia are not the significant
problems I believe them to be in our country, but we should not be surprised if much of the rest
of the world begs to differ.
– Yours, etc,
DR PETER BOYLAN,Ranelagh,
I've been a Democrat my entire life. My party is trying very hard to make me a Republican. Here's a Platner apologist arguing that an Israeli flag tattoo is more offensive than an SS tattoo.
"Israel's future will be decided by people who refuse to let hate run their lives"
The day after an Arab Israeli terrorist carried out a shooting spree in central Israel, killing 1 and wounding 5, Arab Israeli human rights activist Somaya Bashir is speaking out.
She condemns terrorism, calling for zero tolerance. She warns that terrorists want to make Jews hate Arabs and Arabs lose faith in Israel. She refuses to let that happen.
The Free Palestine activists in London and New York say terror is just "resistance". A woman they claim to represent condemns it in no uncertain terms.
What does she know that they don't?
Always the quiet removal of misinformation. The standard way of doing reporting on Gaza, post false information and when they get to much pressure they erase it or change it without any mention. Sadly on the internet the only thing that really matters and get attention are the first claims and headlines.
This is just ANOTHER example of deliberate extremist intimidation aimed at frightening off anyone in public from either supporting the existence of the State of Israel or supporting the Jewish community
@OliverDowden asks the government about the vile abuse Helen Mirren faced recently
Graham Platner supporter says she’s okay with the Nazi tattoo, but if he had an Israeli flag tattoo that would be a deal breaker for her because then he would support genocide.
What made Iran bold enough to strike Israel directly?
The answer is Trump. Tehran may not field a first-class air force or navy, but they possess the absolute best detection equipment in the world for one specific signal: a lack of willingness to fight. For years, Hamas and Hezbollah detected this exact hesitation in Israel and exploited it to gain ground. Today, Iran is doing the exact same thing to the United States. It comes down to the old idiom: give them an inch, and they’ll start firing at a mile of your sovereign territory.
Two months of projected American weakness and a blind obsession with securing a deal have brought us straight to this moment. The collapse started when Washington chose to look the other way during Iranian missile and drone launches in the Gulf. It accelerated every time the U.S. conceded ground just to keep Tehran from abandoning the talks, culminating in the immense pressure to hold Israel back from striking Beirut and the forcing of a hasty, fragile “ceasefire” in southern Lebanon. Tehran smells the desperation and knows exactly what the U.S. is terrified of losing. As an advisor to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei phrased it: “In the bombing in Beirut, the enemy set the negotiating table on fire for the third time.”
So far, it seems Iran guessed correctly. Overnight, Trump went on Fox News with a message for Tehran: “You’ve shot your missiles, that’s enough, get back to the table and make a deal.” In so many words, Trump is simply repackaging Joe Biden’s infamous April 2024 warning to Iran: “Don’t.” Judging by the multiple, separate ballistic barrages launched from Iranian territory this morning, it promises to be just as effective.

Dear @Keir_Starmer@EmmanuelMacron@MarkJCarney:
In recent weeks you have repeatedly condemned Israel.
Iran just broke the ceasefire by firing ballistic missiles at Israel.
Will you now condemn Iran's aggression as a violation of international law? History is watching.
BREAKING: 🇺🇸 USAID Inspector General finds 101 additional UNRWA school teachers, principals & staffers are Hamas terrorists who participated in the October 7 terror attacks. U.S. may soon designate UNRWA as a foreign terrorist organization.

Israel released videos of interrogations of the Palestinian terrorists they captured on October 7th.
The terrorists admit they raped & beheaded Israeli civilians
Israel is fighting a genocidal death cult that glorifies rape, beheadings, and civilian slaughter.
