Axel shows perhaps the most elegant method of making #skyrmions from magnetic domains, by passing a current through a small construction in a wire. The magnetic domains get squeezed and skyrmions pop out the other side. Just like blowing bubbles! #AMN9

Brigitte: a big problem with trying to fix a diseased liver is that liver cells can't be cultured - well they CAN, but growing outside of the body they lose their identity - they no longer do the job liver cells need to. #AMN9
