Lest we forget. At 9:50 CBC discusses Windsor’s Remembrance Day ceremony, and directly after an amazing interview of my Uncle Stuart and his families discovery after decades of searching. Uncle Stu was one of our guests last year. #CanadaRemembers

@Music_YourWay My hope for my kids is that they develop creative thinking skills which will link to their future careers. And then in their home life I hope they use Music to help with self care and mental health care. @Music_YourWay
@Music_YourWay I am with @SandieHeckel , confidence in what they know is a big thing. As the years go by, some have learned to trust me, but I struggle in how to show my students their amazing worth. We do tribes, watch videos and have frank discussions. All help, but never truly solve it.
@Music_YourWay My favourite PD was in London and Btown (one of those cities up there) with Musical Futures where it was 100% hands on learning. No one talking at me, everyone pushing me to try and push the limits. Just like we ask of our students. I learned so much! #musicyourway
@Music_YourWay@CBCMusic I think the instrument I would choose would be the guitar! The possibilities are endless, individual notes, chords, scales and portability. #musicyourway
@Music_YourWay This time of year, my first project I allow students to pick any instrument to complete the CBC Greatest Music Class project. When that is complete they are allowed to pick a song of their choosing to follow the same format. #musicyourway
Thoroughly enjoyed Annie this afternoon! Great performance @BondyMrs ! You were so funny and your vocal performance was awesome! Peyton was amazing as Annie 😘 Thanks for a great afternoon! @mommadelpapa@LeahhFlynn
@NicoleHay13@monckps@TLDSB I spy Fibonacci sequence. Do you know this is very Arts infused? You find it in the Golden Ratio, which tends to create items of “beauty”. The same ratio (1.618) is found between notes/sound waves/intervals as well as proportions in Art (ie The Last Supper or Starry Night)
Starting our @cbcgreatestclass2019 project today! @WalkOffTheEarth using your Cheerleader video to show that "Non-traditional" instruments can make amazing arrangements! We would love some feedback when you come to Windsor in November! https://t.co/4RfwC94cLg
@davidsonbrookes@Music_YourWay @Vicsimi @MsReynoldsMusic @tallgirlwgc@sjeeves Drumming has helped some of my colleagues with the same issues! I find making music a universal language, a lot of diagrams and student experimentation helps bridge the language gaps. We have a lot too! Being and FI school, plus having ESL and ELL students, I hear you!
