Cleaner air and safer streets are a great aim. But no mention of provision made for delivery vehicles or drivers. What consultation has taken place with companies, owner operators or drivers who deliver in BS1 1 to businesses and homes? @bristolcouncil

@BristolDon@BristolCouncil It's off line until 14th February. When turning right out of Bridge Street, both red and green lights are facing driver, which is confusing and dangerous.
@CYvonne@activetraveleng @Sustrans @BristolCouncil Good point, I was referring to Princess Victoria Street, but oddly enough the Cothham Hill closures have caused the same turning issue and dangers to vulnerable road users. The less traffic the better for all, but please consider the manoeuvrability of LGV/HGV's in LTN plans.
@BristolCouncil@WestofEnglandCA Not convinced enough thought has been given to the impact on deliveries to to residential and commercial premises in those areas. Cotham Hill and Princess Victoria Street closures have created dangerous turning areas, and increased the risk to vulnerable road users.
@NickHowes13 Children of the monks of St Augustine's Monastery were used to dig a tunnel from the Red Lodge at the top of Lodge Street, to St James Barton ("Bar ton" being Old English for "Bear Pit") Used to transport bears kept at the Red Lodge to "The Barton" for entertainment at Horsefairs
@BristolCouncil@BristolDon is access permitted onto Broad Quay for loading / unloading? Signs seem to indicate the contrary, but there is a loading place present.
@beardedjourno It's this kind of wanton and furious cycling that puts us all at risk! There's a Strava section in St Philips at the end of the cycle track, on an industrial estate, that definitely encourages stupid behaviour from some. HGV's manoeuvring while Bristol's Pidcocks go for KOM!
