@Richard03557427 @Disclosure_D If you were to send generation ships or von Neumann probes out at each planet visited, it's possible to encompass the whole galaxy in a relatively short amount of time. (Tens of millions of years) Do I think aliens have shown up here? Probably not. It's just as likely they have.

Besides, I don't think you realize how much money a dollar fifty adds up to but it's not about the lost money individually it's about agreeing to provide a service and then failing to provide said service
