Credible allegations of sexual assault cannot be ignored. Voters in Maine deserve a choice for US Senate that doesn’t force them to make a moral compromise between sexual violence or corporate servitude.
There is no place in our politics for sexual violence. Not in our party, not in any party. Graham Platner must withdraw from this race today.
This is not what we stand for. Not as Democrats, not as Mainers, not as human beings. For too long, women who survive sexual violence have been told to stay quiet, to protect the men who hurt them, to think about the campaign, the party, the cause. We cannot ask women to trust us with their futures while looking the other way when one of our own hurts them. That ends here.
I believe Jenny Racicot.
@Julesnader386 She kept saying “I've done more campaign events than both my opponents combined”, but like, how are you campaigning that much and you're still not the frontrunner. If you have that much outreach and your poll numbers don't get better that's a bad sign
every centrist blue maga who celebrates these subpoenas is a fucking moron. they think you’re all communists. they’re coming for you too.
-kamala & hillary lost to trump cus they tried to present themselves as moderate establishment candidates. it was the dem parties failiure that gave us trump twice.
-the dems and its free consultants on this website are entirely out of touch w the base & diametrically opposed to its demands.
-pro israel dems have no real constituency but represent most of the political & media class.
-blue maga is crying a lot lately cus left flank candidates that are for m4a, & anti israel are winning insurgent races in the dem primaries and this makes a lot of the blue maga folk on here scared. “i tried posting on twitter and it didn’t work?! well maybe trump can take of my problem”
@TheSunnyWillow@JordyfromMA@vanguard_pod I think it's just because she thought McMorrow had the best chance to win and oust Schumer, she seems to really hate Schumer specially after the way he fumbled the shutdown
the va supreme court denied the results of the redistricting referendum. scotus gutted the voting rights act and tennessee carved up the last dem district destroying black voter power in the state.
those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable
Zohran Mamdani is being heckled right now at a press conference in Brooklyn, NY, by someone whose words I can't hear, but watch how he's dealing with it.
Mamdani has the unique skill of knowing how to handle and walk into every room and engage with people, no matter how toxic they are or how their feelings are against him. And many times, make them feel heard.
Elected officials, nonprofit and religious leaders, advocates, and activists on both sides of the political spectrum who met with him told me that.
Don't take my word for it, President Trump is pretty public about it.
That's why he's currently the mayor of New York City.
If you don't like his politics or you're like me, who opposed his candidacy and is still troubled by some of his actions and statements, then don't take this post the wrong way; read into it how you should be better to communicate your message.
Yes, putting ego aside for any public figure is not easy.
@shazzity I think it allowed down in the weeks before and then it fully stopped right after, he did say that if Zohran won that it would be a sign of “the environment shifting so much” that he wouldn't run for governor
