Here is what it says.

📌A spokesperson for the airline said the aircraft was “successfully secured by on-duty Flydubai crew travelling on the flight, who diverted and landed the aircraft safely at Tabuk Airport.”

As a result of the cockpit altercation, both the captain and co-pilot of the plane were injured, according to Saudi Arabia’s leading aviation operator.

📌A 50-year-old male Flydubai passenger was taken to a hospital with an upper-body injury and is in “light condition,” the spokesperson said.

HERO PASSENGER YANIV HAYOUN SAVES 200 PASSENGERS ABOARD FLYDUBAI AIRLINES VIA HEROIC ACTIONS.

A Jewish plumber subdues attacker and levels plane. Prevents airline from crashing after plummeting 17,400 ft.

Hero passenger Yaniv Hayoun told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu he subdued the alleged attacker on Flydubai flight FZ1073 and then helped stabilize the aircraft.

Hayoun said he and other passengers tried to reach the cockpit after the incident began. The stabbed pilot was pressed against the door, making it hard to open at first. Once inside, Hayoun said neither pilot was in a seat: one was on the floor and the other was on the panel between the seats. He said the alleged attacker appeared to be trying to disable the plane.

Hayoun put him in a chokehold, dragged him out of the cockpit, then returned and grabbed the controls. He said the sequence unfolded in seconds.

Asked how he knew to pull back the handles to help bring the jet under control, Hayoun credited the television series Air Crash Investigation. He also told Netanyahu that if the plane had entered Israeli airspace, “it wouldn’t have ended well.”

Israeli officials said one pilot stabbed the other and appeared to try to crash the Dubai-to-Tel Aviv flight. The attacked pilot, identified as Capt. Smit Machchhar of India, fought back despite serious injuries. Flight-tracking data showed a plunge of about 17,400 feet in less than two minutes. The aircraft diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. A replacement Flydubai flight later took most passengers to Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv.

Flydubai said on-duty crew traveling on the flight secured the aircraft and landed it at Tabuk. Other accounts mentioned relief pilots or trained passengers. Both the captain and co-pilot were injured. Israel later described the stabbing as an attempted terrorist attack against Israelis, the UAE, and the Abraham Accords. Netanyahu praised Machchhar as a “true hero” who helped prevent a mid-air disaster. The Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia said Machchhar was in stable condition in Tabuk.

Trending Story: Another food Ponzi scheme scam hit Osogbo, causing protest.

A food stuff store at Odi Olowo, Opposite Nepa office, selling items at up to 80% discounted rates for months disappeared this morning after collecting pre-order money from hundreds of traders and customers.

For instance, they sold a 50kg (₦60k-70k) bag of rice for as low as ₦20-30k. An Indomie carton of ₦14k was sold ₦5-7k, depending on the quantity of orders. But, every order took 7-days for processing.

Semovita, Oil, Rice, Beans, Spaghetti; every food stuff was sold for a minimum of 50% discount. This final run, they promoted it on social media, attracting hundreds of interest state-wide.

So, today was supposed to be another pick-up day after taking mass orders from people.

Unfortunately, when the investors arrived the store, it was empty, their numbers weren’t reachable, causing panic that prompted police intervention. They’re now asking police to investigate and recover their money.

Interestingly, it was in the same exact area in Odi Olowo, Osogbo that the infamous Hero’s Merchant or Hero’s Capital happened years ago. Same food stuff scam.

Last year July, someone pulled off the same scam in Auchi.

He was selling ₦60k bags of rice for ₦20k, claiming it was an FG subsidy and palliative. On some days he sold over 100bags of rice.

After collecting money from over 1,000 people, he disappeared. The victims later realized they had collectively been scammed to the tune of ₦20-30 million.

Reports from Abuja claim that efforts were made throughout today to persuade the Chief Imam of Nigeria, Sheikh Prof. Ibrahim Maqari, to accept a cash payment of ₦500 million to appear on the pulpit and publicly support Tinubu re-election bid.

However, he reportedly rejected the offer. Some of his associates said the request was not necessarily for him to campaign for Tinubu, but simply to publicly tell Nigerians to allow Tinubu to complete his four-year term, as some organisations and prominent Islamic scholars in Nigeria have done.

According to the report, Maqari stood his ground and said that if that was the condition, he would rather be removed from his position as Chief Imam.
