Disappointed in my Alma Mater for acquiescing to Trump’s demands. Listen to your history professors: There are collaborators in every regime and I’m ashamed that NU is one of them.

@Angry_Staffer I don’t see the issue. Shouldn’t Trump be glad about this? I thought the tariffs were to “bring back manufacturing to the USA.” If we see there’s a tariff on one product but not on a similar product, then we’d know which one is for “buying American,” right?

@go1dwing My sister & I were traveling to different places, from our homes in different cities, and on our layovers we discovered we were in the same airport at the same time. We knew we were both traveling that day but did not know itineraries. We met up for a hug in the terminal 🥰

@KobeissiLetter Don’t play stupid. They canceled a bunch of contracts (illegally) & refused to pay vendors (illegally) & fired a bunch of workers (illegally). The next question you should ask is, how much harm have they done with these actions? How much of the People’s work is not getting done?

@KeenanPeachy It’s not a gift to Harvard. The money is contracts, for research. That’s how we get things like Ozempic for weight loss — because the US govt pays universities for research.

@pcorri59 @historigins I know that, a few decades ago, you could camp overnight atop Half Dome in Yosemite. (I did it.). You can’t do that anymore, but not because of the cable part of the hike. It’s due to the lightning strikes — too many deaths.

@moneyover55 She had a bad experience, or maybe wasn’t mentally/emotionally prepared for the experience. Most mothers I know speak of labor with a kind of awe at what we were able to do. Trial by fire. I don’t know anyone who (admitted to) let the pain stop them if they wanted another kid.
