Please read โผ๏ธ I seriously debated with myself whether to post individual cases; but death and famine in Sudan is not humanised like it is in Palestine or Ukraine. Most of the world views Sudanese and African suffering in general as a mere statistic when these Sudanese children pictured are as deserving as anywhere else in the world. In these pictures are Minar aged 9, Mustafa aged 7, Eman aged 8 and Hassan aged 4 they are all suffering from health complications brought on by severe malnutrition. Their area of Khartoum is too dangerous for us to establish a community kitchen so we work with a local resistance committee (community volunteers) to deliver food packages to these households. Before our intervention 5 children had already been buried in the neighbourhood after suffering from malnutrition induced illnesses.
#Sudan is the largest Humanitarian crisis in the world more people are projected to die in Sudan by September than the entire population of Gaza, yet our suffering is treated as a mere global footnote! The UNโs Humanitarian appeal for Sudan is only 8% funded few people in Sudan are seeing international aid; this is why we @KhartoumKitchen are asking for your help we need to raise as much as possible so we can feed as many people as possible. https://t.co/YL6coz6ud4
