If I’m going to have to yell at people, at-least it’s about microglia!
Met so many awesome people (and new friends!) discussing my research on the use of brain #microglia autofluorescence as an index of brain inflammation at D1 of @ANS_Students
Really excited to have been able to share some of my work at @AusNeuroSoc today and to hear about so many interesting projects! Come by poster 6 on Thursday if you want to learn more about brain stimulation in stroke recovery 🤩

Post-graduate students in New Zealand may feel the geographical isolation from the rest of the academic world, so Will believes that a strong student network is important in easing this distance. He looks forward to meeting you all!
Last but not least, our NZ rep!
Kia ora kotou. Will is in his 2nd year into his PhD at @OtagoMedDept@NZBrain. His interests are emerging PET and MRI imaging techniques and increasing their utility to make them more accessible for clinical settings in neurodegenerative disorders
Prior to his PhD, Will's study interests included psychology and molecular biology. He feels that one of the best aspects of post-graduate study is the opportunity to make connections and learn from others.
