If you're worried about where we're going, don't be--we have a #NavyCon discord that we share with @TheJointGeeks. Join it here! https://t.co/leFASbddd1
We couldn't do #NavyCon as a traditional conference this year, but if you want to hear cutting-edge ficint analysis like this, head over to @TheJointGeeks and see what their guests have to say!
@TheJointGeeks (2/2) We didn't want to do this, but reality has its own dictates. We're not going anywhere--we'll be back in the saddle ASAP, and @TheJointGeeks will be back as well. But for right now, we want to say thank you to everyone for waiting, and get ready for some great podcasts!
#NavyCon 2022 update: Sadly, we're not able to staff an in-person or virtual NavyCon this year due to deployments, etc. Instead, we will be hosting our speakers on @TheJointGeeks for slightly-extended versions of their talks. We'll let you know when those episodes air.
After a great panel and questions at @ANavycon last year, I wrote this about terrorism in the Star Wars universe for @pptsapper

@wjprom Congratulations! Your paper, "Jean-Luc Got His Seat Belt: Ergonomics and Crew Safety in Starfleet, a study of the Enterprises -D and -E" has been accepted...
We're bummed to have to share the news that we're postponing #NavyCon 2022, but we're also looking forward to holding it in a hybrid format in the fall! We'll be releasing more information as we get things settled. Stay tuned!
This is your two-week warning! Get your papers in for #NavyCon 2022 by 3 April! We want to hear from you--yes, you! The grad student with the crazy idea! And you! The operator who wants to change their specialty! And you! The doctrine nerd with the perfect analogy! Send it in!
It's here! The #NavyCon 2022 call for papers is officially out! Spread it around your social media and help us get another top-notch group of presenters for June. We've had so many amazing people share their thoughts, and we can't wait for it to happen again! @TheJointGeeks
Love reading @Doctrine_Man? Can't get enough @WarintheFuture? Rabid fan of @USNAMuseum's Preble Hall? Then we want you to submit a proposal for #NavyCon 2022. It's a venue where you can argue that #thrawn was overpromoted or Londo was an Orbanesque figure, and folks will get it!

Everyone give a hearty congratulations to #NavyCon 2020-A keynote speaker and host of @ConsolPrize Abby Mullen! (We've had her on @TheJointGeeks as well, for the $.02 that's worth.) We're thrilled by her success, and we can't wait to see what she does next!
Looking for an idea for #NavyCon 2022? This thread might help! (We're partial to the Earth/Vers War from Aldnoah Zero and the 4th Succession War from Battletech, ourselves...Big stompy mechs tend to lend themselves to courtly intrigue AND battlefield action.)
Alright folks. I need some good fictional wars to make a point. Currently using the Time War (Dr. Who), the Machine War (Matrix), and the UN-MCR War (Expanse). Hit me with your favorite fictional war!
Have thoughts on the #BookofBobaFett series? Know what the crew of the Cerritos should do to maximize efficiency? Do you teach lessons via #StargatePME? We want to hear from you! Send us a presentation proposal for this summer's #NavyCon!

This is what it's all about, folks! Mining sci-fi for lessons we can use in reality, and thinking about sci-fi in new ways. Got a creative idea? Think Mattis was wrong? Send in a proposal for our upcoming #NavyCon 2022 conference!
@DavidLarter@johnkrempasky@goatmaster89 It's virtual, so he just has to get to the North Korean hotel where they keep their, ah, internet professionals. https://t.co/Kvo1h01W1x
