I hope @NigeriaGov and the State governors will not be more concerned about being politically correct while the COVID-19 numbers keep increasing daily.
We might already be witnessing the 2nd wave but don’t want to admit

Germany is to close most shops and schools, and limit social contact from the middle of December to January 10, Angela Merkel announced on Sunday. https://t.co/ezLG8kdx7I
Dear, it is normal for marriages to break down due to irreconcilable differences. But really, why punish the children for your decision? It is your spouse that offended you, not the kids. Making the kids suffer makes you an unfortunate and grossly useless parent.
My heart is full ❤❤❤❤
I have a little boy too in one of those places I share food, who would always make sure his siblings get a plate each, he never comes back for his own, I am the one who takes his own plate to him.
Kindness is a thing, let it be your thing. 🫂❤
MKO Abiola's son narrates how President Tinubu visited his mother in 1993 to inform her of an assassination attempt on her life before he moved to the USA to also avoid being killed.
@YeyeOba001 A member of my church is Port Harcourt some 15 years back is named Abednego.
There's also a young guy in my neighborhood some years back. His mates named him "má bẹ ni ìgò".
The first coach of the Nigerian national team, John Finch (February 3, 1909 – November 15, 1993), meets his 18-man squad of Nigeria's first national team, known as the "UK Tourists", at the Liverpool Port, August 29, 1949.
They had departed from Lagos on August 16, 1949, and after a 13-day journey aboard the Elder Dempster vessel, MV Apapa, as third-class passengers, they finally arrived in England via the Liverpool Port at about 8:30 am on Monday, August 29, 1949.
Etim Henshaw, the team’s captain, said in one of the interviews that, “We travelled third class, but we were treated as first class passengers by everyone on board.” However, the chairman of the Nigerian Football Association (NFA), Captain Donald H. Holley and his wife, Dorothy, had travelled first class.
To maintain their fitness, they ran four times around the ship’s deck every morning and evening. Below the ship’s cargo were Nigerian food items {rice, palm oil, dried shrimps, yam, ham, mutton, and red pepper} to sustain the players while they were in the United Kingdom.
The team then played nine matches barefoot (without football boots) against amateur sides during a four-week stay in the United Kingdom. They were known at the time as the "Red Devils" due to their red shirts.
In their first match against Marines, only one player, Sokari Dokubo, did not play barefoot. He wore lightly soled canvas shoes because he was used to them. There were many ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ from spectators when the players’ bare feet came in contact with the tough leather ball, but they did not flinch.
Len Carney, the Marines’ captain, said at the end of the match, “We soon found their feet were harder than our boots.”
The fans urged the Marine players to take their boots off in the hopes that it would help them play as well as the barefooted Nigerians. A large group of West Africans from Manchester were part of the 6000 spectators that watched this match. The Nigerian team beat Marine 5-2.
Marine then donated the total gate receipts from their match against the Nigerian team to the NFA. This amounted to £200.
The Nigerian team won two, drew two and lost five matches during their month-long tour. They were accustomed to playing 70-minute matches in Nigeria but had to play 90-minute matches during their UK tour.
Naturally, they suffered physically, especially in the second halves of their matches. The heaviest defeat of the tour was an 8-0 thrashing by the Athenian league representative team. There was heavy rain on the day of this match (September 21) and this resulted in a slippery, muddy pitch which hindered the Nigerians.
Eight of the players started the match barefoot but had to put on boots in the second half because they struggled to stay on their feet. The boots did not help them because they were not used to playing in them.
The Nigerian team left Liverpool for Lagos after a one-month tour on September 29, 1949, on board the R.M.M.S Accra. The players, again, travelled third class.
Etim Henshaw, the team’s captain, remained behind in the UK to take his Board of Trade tests in Marine Engineering. He returned to Lagos on the Tamele (an Elder Dempster ship) via Liverpool a year later. Henshaw travelled first class.
This 18-man squad represented different parts of Nigeria and came largely from railway, marine, commercial and government establishments. They were:
GOALKEEPERS: Sam Ibiam (Port Harcourt), Isaac Akioye (Hercules, Ibadan).
DEFENCE: Justin Onwudiwe (Lagos Railway), Olisa Chukwura (Abeokuta), Ahmed Tijani B. Ottun (Lagos Marines), Isiaku Shittu (Lagos UAC), John Dankaro (Jos), Hope Lawson (Lagos Marine), Dan Anyiam (Lagos UAC), Okoronkwo Kanu (Land & Survey).
FORWARDS: Mesembe Otu (Lagos Marine), Peter Anieke (Lagos Railway), Sokari Dokubo (Lagos Railway), Godwin Anosike (Lagos Railway), Tesilimi Balogun (Lagos Railway), Titus Okere (Lagos Railway), Etim Henshaw (Lagos Marine) and Edet Ben (Lagos Marine).
Sadly, none of them is alive today.
Ahmed Tijani Ottun was the first player to die, by drowning himself in the Lagos Lagoon after battling depression, on August 6, 1957. He was 31.
The last player to die was Titus Okere, on June 14, 2023. He was 94. #HistoryVille

@NERCNG@IkejaElectric@ieServe@fccpcnigeria@lascopa@IkejaElectric@ieServe it is unprofessional and unethical to mislead the regulators that you have resolved a complaint fully when you know it has not been done.
Several emails to your customer service from June last year came back with "we working in it".
Be more responsible.
@NERCNG@IkejaElectric@ieServe@fccpcnigeria@lascopa Despite only supplying the new meter (#1) @ieServe customer service sent me a mail on 28th September with the header "NERC 178190..." claiming the matter is fully resolved.
I am stating categorically that @IkejaElectric has deliberately refused to resolve issues # 2 and 3.
