From A NIGERIAN DOCTOR IN THE UK.
So,we had the first malaria case yesterday in my hospital in 30 years.Baba just returned from 9ja and had all the symptoms of malaria. They had to transport IV Artesunate from Liverpool with Liverpool with ambulance to us midnight. Apparently,no consultant knows how to treat malaria. They went to examine the patient all dressed like astronauts, like they were going to the moon even though they ruled out VHF from the blood tests. The three 9ja doctors on shift including myself became demigods yesterday. Na so we just dey move stuffs about malaria. Stuff wey no even correct. Them still dey clap for us😂. They kept saying the patient may have cardiac arrest. We told them to chill say malaria na our guy and we go run am. No nurse could constitute and administer IV Artesunate as they have never seen IV Artesunate antimalarial before. I gave Baba one shut stat. This morning, Baba say he wan go house and my consultant said it's the most miraculous recovery he has ever seen in his medical practice.
Malaria fa. Our own guy. We know malaria and malaria know https://t.co/OCNZEMqIRC our guy 😂.

To My Lover, Foluke.
Great has been the journey of walking side by side with you. And so today, on your 78th birthday, is a gift to me, to have the world join me in doing what I have spent 58 years doing: celebrating you.
With you, the weight of the assignment has always been a lighter cross to carry. Our two have agreed, and so our walking together has been of divine stride, a race continuously illuminated, step after step, decade after decade. My path shines brighter because I walk it with you.
Many people know you as Mummy G.O. I have the privilege of knowing you simply as my wife, my friend, and the person who has stood with me through every challenge, every victory, and every assignment God has given us. I have watched you give strength to others even when you were tired yourself. I have seen your quiet sacrifices, your compassion, your wisdom, and your unwavering trust in God. Those are the things that make me thank God for you every day.
Our children have been blessed because of your love. The family of God has been blessed because of your devotion. Countless homes have been strengthened because you answered God’s call with all your heart.
Seventy-eight years of your life, fifty-eight years of them beside me, and still I find new reasons to thank God for you. You have been wife, counsel, and companion in every sense the word was ever meant to hold.
As you celebrate today, my prayer is simple. May the God whom you have served so faithfully continue to uphold you. May He surround you with His peace, fill your days with fresh joy, strengthen your body, renew your strength, and continue to satisfy you with His goodness. May the years ahead be even more fruitful than those behind, and may you continue to see the mighty hand of God at work in your life.
Thank you for walking hand in hand with me. Happy 78th birthday, my love.
Your loving husband,
Pastor E. A. Adeboye

Campaigning against the BAT administration in 2027 will be difficult for the opposition if they stick to non-issues and propaganda.
With Infrastructure boom like the coastal Highway, 27+ major road projects in-flight. Bold economic reforms like fuel subsidy removal, FX unification stabilising the Naira, NELFUND (1.5M+ students), record forex reserves, FATF exit, stable universities, and a consistent signal with improving internal security.
Investor confidence is returning strongly.
If his ministers keep delivering, little will be left for critics. If anything, BAT seems to be winning over more supporters at this stage, than the opposition.
Nigeria Forward 🇳🇬💚
And our God arose like He promised!
Let somebody shout Hallelujah!!
Glory be to our God for answering our prayers and fulfilling His word.
We appreciate the efforts of all the security agencies in securing the release of our school children and their teachers from captivity.
Congratulations to each of them and their families.
Our God answers prayers. Hallelujah!!!
Is Lagos State for Everybody or Only a Selected Few?
Around 3:20 a.m. last night, our 7-month-old baby girl started crying with a very high fever. She had been running a temperature for the past two days, but it became worse during the night. When I checked with the thermometer, her temperature had risen to 38.5°C.
My wife and I were worried. It was raining heavily, and without a car, we didn't know how we would get her to the hospital.
We used a towel soaked in water to gently wipe her body and help reduce the fever while we waited for the rain to ease.
Then I remembered the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency-LASEMA number, 112. I called at about 4:07 a.m., hoping they could help. A lady answered and asked about the emergency. I explained that my 7-month-old baby had a high fever, it was raining heavily, and we couldn't get to the hospital. She could hear my baby crying in the background.
I asked if they could send an ambulance. She immediately took my address and a nearby landmark.
At about 4:27 a.m., I received another call from the Lagos Emergency Response Call Centre. The officer informed me that an ambulance had already been dispatched. He asked how the team could locate my house because it was still dark and there might not be anyone outside to direct them. I asked if I could send my live location, but he explained that he was calling from the control centre and was not with the ambulance team.
By 5:07 a.m., the rain had stopped. I received another call informing me that the ambulance was waiting at Checkpoint Bus Stop. My wife, our baby, and I quickly took a motorcycle there, and to my surprise, the ambulance was already waiting for us.
The medical personnel welcomed us into the ambulance and asked about our baby's condition. They asked which hospital we normally used. I mentioned the new Primary Health Centre at Ilepo, but explained that it does not operate 24 hours a day. They agreed and advised us that the best option was to take our baby to GeneralHospital Badagry where she could receive proper emergency care.
I believe the ambulance couldn't reach our house because of the heavy rain and the poor condition of the Ibiye–Checkpoint–Magbon road to our street. This is another reason why that road needs urgent attention from the Lagos State Government and the local government. Good roads save lives during emergencies.
One thing that amazed me was that the ambulance came all the way from Badagry General Hospital about 24 kilometres to Checkpoint Bus Stop just to respond to our emergency. Wow. Honestly we are still shock. I only see this happen in developed countries.
For that, I sincerely commend the Lagos State Emergency Response Team. They proved that the emergency service is working and that lives truly matter.
The journey to the hospital was smooth. The Lagos–Badagry Expressway from Agbara Junction to Badagry is now a modern six-lane road with no potholes. Credit goes to former President Muhammadu Buhari for starting the project, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for continuing it, and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for ensuring the reconstruction around Badagry, including the road leading to the General Hospital. Good roads make emergency response faster and more effective.
At the hospital, we were asked to open a new patient file because records from the Primary Health Centre could not be accessed there. I believe Lagos State should work towards creating a unified electronic medical record system so that patients' records can be accessed at any government hospital. I no there is existing smart card, we have that with our Lagos health insurance but had expired. I'll renew it.
We paid ₦2,000 to open a new file. The doctor attended to our baby immediately and requested a Full Blood Count (FBC) test and a malaria test, which cost ₦8,000. We also bought the prescribed injections and medications from the hospital pharmacy for about ₦4,000.
Updated: in the course of the rescue operation, eight of the kidnappers were arrested and are now in DSS custody, while some of them were neutralised. There was no quid pro quo in the rescue as one of the terrorists, a kingpin, that the kidnappers demanded his release, is being prosecuted for his atrocities. The security agencies will give full account soon.
Prince Adeyemi just confessed he never met Gbajabiamila, and only had a phone call with someone he assumed was Gbaja once. But, I'm surprised he ran to VDM. As per what?
"We are happy with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. No President has ever been kind to pensioners like President Bola Tinubu. He didn't just pay our arrears (of ages), he also paid the 10% increase on our pensions..."
Godwin Abumisi, National President of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP).
OFFICIAL: The reduction of import levy on new vehicles from 20% to 10% and that of used vehicles from 15% to 5% in order to ease cost of vehicle importation by commences today.
Let me be honest about something.
Most Nigerians do not actually have a problem with the grant the First Lady announced.
The problem people have is with who said it.
And that is the most dangerous kind of thinking.
When you hate the messenger so much that you reject the message even when the message is right. That's hate
And I have been watching the opposition space closely.
I barely see constructive criticism anymore.
Show me where the roads should go. Show me a better economic model. Show me an alternative that makes sense.
What I see instead is people waking up every morning looking for something to be angry about.
Anything Tinubu does is wrong.
Anything his wife says is mockery.
Even a direct cash grant to the poorest Nigerians somehow became a joke.
And the saddest part is most of these people are not even thinking for themselves.
They are just following the mob.
So they hate everything connected to Tinubu.
Even the things that would have helped them.
BREAKING: Gunmen attacked travellers on the Sagamu–Benin Expressway in Ogun and kidnapped 5 people. Within 24 hours, police from Ogun and Lagos rescued all 5 victims, killed 4 kidnappers, and arrested 88 suspects during a major operation in Area J4 Forest.
No Terrorism in SW!

Remi Tinubu grants N50,000 to 37,000 women petty traders
She flagged off the disbursement of the grant in Asaba, the Delta State capital, where over 1,000 petty traders benefited from the scheme.
I heard people talking about akara sellers. It is not only akara sellers. We are also supporting tomato sellers, maize sellers, vegetable sellers, and many other petty traders. I know the beneficiaries appreciate it, and we're not intimidated by the wrong reports.
- First Lady Remi Tinubu spoke yesterday while announcing a 100 million naira support package for 2,000 female petty traders in Jigawa State, with each trader getting 50,000 naira.
So this same Asaba- Benin road that Peter Obi used in making content today, another content creator had already used it and guess what, their contents were parallel
One is patriotic and the other is chasing clouts 🙃
This is why Iya Elewa, Baba Teacher, Iya Alakara, Iya Oni Rogbo, Baba Olobi, Iya Eleko, Baba Carpenter etc work hard doing micro businesses of N250K or N300K monthly.
This is why market women and men labour, to give their children a better life. They might have missed out on education. Life might have happened to them.
Please if you have spare N100K, N200K, N300K, help petty traders and folks from humble backgrounds 💙.
