APC DISMISSES FAKE NEWS ON “PRICE OF 2027 ELECTION NOMINATION FORMS”

The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to a false and misleading report circulating in sections of the media regarding a purported “price list” for expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 General Elections.

The APC states categorically that the report is FAKE, and did not emanate from the Party. To be clear, no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections. The report is a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination.

We urge Party members, the media, and the general public to disregard the report in its entirety.

Last night, at the 8th National Convention of our great party, the APC, in Abuja, we elected members of the National Working Committee (NWC) who are truly round pegs in round holes.

Their emergence reflects the deep confidence we have in their capacity to provide purposeful leadership, strengthen our party structures, and lead us to even greater heights, including a resounding victory in the 2027 general elections.

I also commend our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose sterling leadership, inclusive governance philosophy, and unmatched political experience were evident in the peace, orderliness, and sense of brotherhood that defined the convention. It is yet another demonstration of what disciplined leadership can achieve.

With the conduct of this rancour-free convention, our party has once again set a benchmark for democratic practice in Nigeria.

Democracy is about the people, and once again, we have demonstrated that truth.

Here is my honest opinion about the @APCConvention yesterday…

What we saw was a party that could organize at scale, manage complexity, and deliver a successful convention without chaos.
I’m so proud of my party and I’m really impressed with the leadership of this group..

Despite all the negativity online, young Nigerians are still showing up, engaging, and committing themselves to building within the APC.

Real political strength isn’t measured by trends or hashtags.
It’s measured by cohesion, planning, and the ability to bring people together toward a common goal.

The emergency lovers of Nigeria like Peter Obi and Atiku are somewhere In their corners, crying and throwing punches in the air with the successful outing yesterday…They expected chaos and disagreement but God is merciful…

I attended the All Progressives Congress National Convention, and it was a huge success!

The event was colourful and vibrant, with tens of thousands of delegates and party leaders thronging Eagle Square in a powerful show of unity and strength.

A major highlight of the convention was the return of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda as the party’s National Chairman. We are happy with what he has done so far as Chairman and we are confident he will lead us to victory in 2027.

Oyo State was proudly and strongly represented, with 251 delegates and many dedicated party faithful who travelled all the way to Abuja to be part of this convention.

I specially acknowledge and commend the delegates and leaders from Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency for their strong representation, commitment, and dedication to our great party.

I wish everyone a safe journey back home.
