Students from Construction Trades, Electrical Systems, Heating & Air Conditioning, and Building & Property Maintenance programs had the chance to attend the Akron-Canton Builds Expo at the Summit County Fairgrounds last week. This interactive event provided students with hands-on experiences and the opportunity to engage with trades professionals across nearly every construction pathway. Both students and instructors had the chance to connect with industry experts to explore partnerships, job opportunities, and apprenticeships. We truly appreciate events like this that offer valuable practical learning experiences!

Amber Bremenour, a student at @NordoniaSchools, is excelling in CVCC’s Print Production program, where she brings creativity to life through hands-on projects. 🎨🖨️

This summer, she’s been busy printing handbooks, catalogs, and apparel, working closely with a classmate and her instructor to develop real-world skills like communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.
When she’s not in the lab, Amber enjoys riding her bike, watching scary movies, and spending time with her family and friends. As she heads into her senior year, she’s focused on learning, personal growth, and exploring her future—including the possibility of a career in the military!
