I mentioned either yesterday today that, following the 1/6 indictments, the RDS/Never Trump/Media brigades would shift into overdrive. That has begun.

* DeSantis says 2020 was a fair election (which makes 1/6 protest illegitimate)

* Media jumps on RDS' words, to try to hurt Trump and help RDS. The media wants RDS to win the primary because they don't think he can win the general.

* Never Trumper groups like Republican Accountability Project (I think that's their name) begin running "Republicans vs Trump" ads.

...and so forth.

So hang in. There's likely to be some turbulence now, or at least attempts to create turbulence. Expect plenty of those attempts to be fake, IMO, like push polls or gamed focus groups.

The establishment plan -- on both sides -- has always been to take Trump down in the primary. That's why the lawfare has started so early, to try to help RDS.

Once Trump clears the primary, it's going to be a lot harder to stop him. Especially with Biden as your front man.

What has to be remembered in all this is that RDS willingly signed up to be the establishment's tool against Trump, and did so with the hope that the lawfare would take Trump down. He agreed to this, which is why so many people are pissed off and done with him.

Trump is still in great shape. The anti-Trump forces, however, are not going to go quietly. Swamp gonna swamp, and now is when they'll make their push.
