@Target 408-234-4600. I started a partnership with our local target to buy emergency needs for our Hotel a great manager named Stephanie and I do a place an order on target for delivery today telling me between 5 PM and 7 PM and of course now it’s 1222 midnight the next day I never heard hiding her hair and I called the store and they’re like we don’t do out that’s a third-party that does delivery WTF target man come on I’m gonna stop using you guys altogether. If this happens again I want to talk to somebody. I don’t want to talk to a machine. I don’t wanna give something to your office is closed. you charged my card. You didn’t deliver his promised reach out.
@SphereVegas if more companies mirrored your process of applications on your personal website it would be a much easier world for people to find work. It was a welcoming and exceptional process when you’re done it makes you feel like that severe has heard your voice and not some third-party employment company bravo‼️
I learned ninth-grade civics: You’ve got three equal branches of government. But right now, the Congress is not one of them. It abdicated everything to the White House.
@eBay so I can’t get a live person to even speak to me on eBay because I sold a very expensive watch they wanted to return it. I offered them a $50 discount and you only charge them $50 and return them all the money and now I can’t get anybody on the phone because it says the case is closed whenever I push the button hoping you’ll get back to me before I have to reach out to an attorney
13yrs. I sold Fuller Brush door-to-door...made $16K my first year 1969. Equivalent in purchasing power to approximately $141,799.24
14yrs I went to work for the Mark Hopkins Hotel, separating the combined Sunday papers to make them thin enough to hang on a guest's door as well as washing the change. Yes, I was a coin washer in a luxury hotel.
When I got my driver's license I started delivering dry cleaning and shirt laundry.
@Matt_Pinner What I don't get is when I do an image search. This has been posted on Facebook probably 20 times with the same question. Don't people have better things to do than to re-post these pictures?
@Matt_Pinner I can't help but feel pity for them. And if you look at the photograph, there's a camera up in the corner of the room. Are their actions being monitored 24/7? A sad state of affairs when people feel that they have to do that to themselves.
Angela, you have nothing to worry about. It was certainly a reasonable tip for a $200 bill. If you're so inclined, you should share the name of the restaurant. If it's a chain or if it's a well-known restaurant, people should know about situations like this. I would appreciate the information.
And honestly, watching Bad Bunny light up the halftime show only made it clearer to me how much the center of gravity has shifted. I love how global pop culture feels right now. English is no longer the culture’s lingua franca, or at least not the only one. A third of American pop music fans listen to music in Spanish, according to the Luminate data analytics firm; nearly two-thirds listen to artists from other countries. And the younger and more engaged those fans are, the more international their tastes tend to be. Streaming services such as Spotify and YouTube have replaced the old cultural gatekeepers, enabling fans to share songs and videos across borders. South Korea is today the fourth-largest exporter of recorded music, according to Luminate’s metrics. Puerto Rico, with a population of just about 3.2 million, is ranked seventh.
@tomhanks the backstory upfront I was born in Redwood City and I graduated in 74. Heard you on SmartLess decided to watch Finch again just stopped at in the middle to send you this note last week. I had my six-year-old daughter sit and watch it with me and yes, I know I’m old for a six-year-old, but that’s a whole Nother story. This was the first time she really sat through a movie. Usually she gets up and turns on K-pop or whatever but she was mesmerized by you and your steamed cast brother all I can do is thank you for years of entertainment. Almost 30 years ago there was a company that took Forrest Gump and created a program where you wore a headset and if you were blind, you could watch the movie through your words. It was exquisite. I was one of the producers at the event and with ups and downs, I lost contact with the people and never heard what happened to this technology that was incredible. I turned my back during the entire movie and listened to it and explained every nuance from the leaf coming down when you were sitting on the bench be well, brother I will always be a fan.
@bar97686@theamelia__ The pathological liar will lie when the truth fits better or is more appropriate they can’t help for themselves so is not to break it down here you’re better off googling why people are pathological liars, and how they become pathological liars
My father was a member of the Knights of Malta and worked for the Vatican for more than thirty years. He was a lapsed Catholic, but that was beside the point. Like our own government, when popes came and went, the institution remained and so did the career people who kept it running.
My father was one of them. His work included the World Hunger Project, the Vatican Council on the Aging, and, ultimately, the Vatican Bank. The stories I grew up hearing about what happened behind closed doors would be enough to make many people rethink Catholicism entirely.
I’m not interested in judging anyone’s faith. I’m not here to tear belief down. I just want people to have freedom, the freedom to believe, not believe, question, walk away, or stay without fear or coercion.
That freedom is the point.
