On 26 October 2026, security forces conducted two intelligence based operations in Kachhi and Wadh Districts of Balochistan, on reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna Al Hindustan neutralising Nine Indian sponsored terrorists.

An intelligence based operation was conducted in Kachhi district, during the conduct of operation terrorists hideout was busted by security forces and after an intense fire exchange seven Indian sponsored terrorists were sent to hell. Weapons and ammunition was also recovered.

In another intelligence based operation in district Wadh, security forces tracked and intercepted terrorist movement and after an intense fire exchange, two Indian sponsored terrorist were sent to hell. Weapons and ammunition was also recovered.

Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area. Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

Intelligence agencies reported the presence of multiple hideouts of Indian-sponsored Fitna Al Hindustan in the general areas of Shadi Kaur, Tehsil Pasni, District Gwadar, and Jattakabad, District Kalat, posing a threat to the local population. To safeguard the local populace and clear the area of terrorists, Security Forces are conducting operations in these areas.

In the first incident, on 18 October 2026, Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Jattakabad, District Kalat. During the operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists' location and, after an intense exchange of fire, four terrorists were sent to hell. A large cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered.

In the second incident, Security Forces conducted a series of clearance operations in the general area of Shadi Kaur, Tehsil Pasni, District Gwadar. During one of the operations, the lead force component, led by Major Wajahat Waheed (age 34, resident of Lahore), was targeted by an improvised explosive device. Major Wajahat Waheed, a son of the soil, made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and embraced shahadat.

Sanitisation operations will continue to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. The relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of "Azm-e-Istehkam", as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace. Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies remain committed to eliminating the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

On 10 October 2026, movement of a group of khwarij, trying to approach international border from Afghanistan to Pakistan was detected along the international border in Kurram District and effectively engaged by security forces.

While security forces, maintaining a high state of alertness and vigilance, effectively thwarted the infiltration attempt, Afghan Taliban Posts also opened fire to support the infiltration attempt by Khwarij. Skilful and precise engagement by vigilant troops resulted in killing of twelve Khwarij and Afghan Taliban.

During intense fire exchange, Naib Subedar Hidayat Aman (age: 40 years, resident of District Ghizer), having fought gallantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat.

This incident along Pakistan-Afghanistan border once again vindicates Pakistan’s objective and factual stance regarding the wilful abject failure of the Afghan Taliban Regime to deny the use of Afghan soil to the terrorist organization, rather facilitate and patronise cross-border terrorism. The Afghan Taliban Regime has consistently failed to honour its international counter-terrorism obligations.

The Security Forces of Pakistan remain resolute and unwavering in their commitment to defend the nation’s frontiers. Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country. These sacrifices of our brave soldiers further reinforce our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation and its frontiers at all costs.

On mid-day, 12 October 2026, a Mushshak training aircraft of Pakistan Army Aviation crashed near Nawan Killi, Quetta due to a technical fault. Both pilots, Major Husnain Shehzad Humayun (Instructor Pilot) and Captain Abdul Samad (Student Pilot) embraced Shahadat in the unfortunate crash.
