Thanks Pam for an interesting conversation about how a primary school in Cambridge is thinking deeply about how to create a neuroaffirmative culture to truly promote inclusion for all kids who are neurodivergent. The goal must be to create happy children who grow up into happy adults, fulfilling their potential and flourishing in society, and schools have a key role to play in this https://t.co/87iJ5F9Ebe

@TomFoulsh@AlboresGallo Interesting patterns are across NDs especially looks at the eye-region. We propose that CU traits reflect a transdiagnostic developmental construct shaped by early attentional–emotional mechanisms, rather than a disorder-specific identity.
📣 Paper alert: We reviewed callous unemotional (CU) traits across neurodevelopmental disorders (NDs). Individuals with CU traits consistently show atypical gaze patterns (reduced looks to the eyes), when viewing fearful faces.

How insulting to be asked to wait years - 16 years - for an assessment of autism on the NHS. And how irresponsible to leave someone unsupported in this way https://t.co/pf7K9lRUIl
There is more and more evidence that putting computers and tablets on students' desks (1:1 devices) was a terrible mistake. I agree with @AdamMGrant that "it's time to remove laptops [and tablets] from classrooms."
