Current Situation: 64 counties have been designated as high risk for wildfire, 11 counties as moderate risk for wildfire, and burn bans are in effect for 52 counties.

The deadline to pay personal and real property taxes in Arkansas is less than 3 weeks away. You can pay by mail, and most counties accept payments online. Be sure to pay by the Oct. 15 deadline to avoid penalties and interest. #arpx#arnews

If the seller didnโt pay real estate taxes, you assume that responsibility. If itโs certified for delinquent taxes and isnโt redeemed, we must auction the parcel regardless if ownership has changed.
Buying real estate by private treaty? Be sure to have title work done on the parcel BEFORE completing the purchase. This will find delinquent taxes, liens, clouded title and other potential legal issues that may affect your ownership of or responsibilities for the parcel.
