We have started discussions with @HMRCgovuk on what this may mean for our members. Plucking numbers out of thin air, without a proper plan, is not the way for any Government to operate. If you are not already a member, there isn’t a better time to join - https://t.co/o0QlxVrlOK

Kicking off the second day of the ARC AGM, @FDAGenSec pays tribute to outgoing President Loz Hutton who, over the past four years, led the Section through successful pay and contract reform, responded to the challenges of the pandemic and launched our Funding the Nation campaign.
Agree with every word of this, @loz_hutton has been an absolute credit to the @FDA_union HMRC section, working tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to achieve so many positives victories for members. This is what a good union does, and why you should join https://t.co/ahG3ZzM8i2
Civil servants have a code of conduct, like many other professions, but ours is also part of the law. So when that code is under threat, we made the difficult choice to challenge the Government by judicial review. Read more here ⬇️
JRM would be better reading and supporting the https://t.co/EWz1HC7MpV report from @ARC_Union@FDA_union which finds that if HMRC were properly funded, it would result in improvements to customer service AND increase revenue for the Treasury. It’s NOT about home vs office working

In 1958 the Council of Women Civil Servants dissolved itself, believing its objectives were met. For #IWD2024 six surviving female FDA Presidents discuss the challenges still facing women in senior roles & reflect on their time leading the union.

This is a great article showcasing why so many new people have joined @FDA_union, especially those who have become new reps. Reps are an integral part of our union working tirelessly to make all aspects of their workplace better for their fellow members and colleagues.
Dealing with the requirements of a new department is so tiring, but I know I have @FDA_union looking put for me and all the other affected members. Take a look and #JoinAUnion
❤️ It's #HeartUnions week ❤️

They’ll be standing alongside more than 22,000 members who believe that public services – and the people who deliver them – matter.
By mass pile on, do you mean dozens of civil servants across three government departments - over four years - raising complaints through a process that requires the Prime Minister’s agreement to even investigate? In that case, I’m not sure you know what a mass pile on is.
Sunak needs to prioritise those people at the heart of these complaints against Raab, rather than retaining political control. It's the only way civil servants can have any confidence in the process.
