Faith and work is not simply using work to share your faith but utilizing business to model faith, care for others, restore what is broken, and create to God’s glory…Work is not simply a means to ministry. Work is ministry! #kingdom
Football season is back - thankfully (except for FSU). Dr. Hunter Bailey is Woo Pig Sooie. On our latest episode, he talks about go-to tailgating food in Fayetteville. He also talks about supporting planters, the ghosts of church planting, and what is happening in the EPC.
@pastoremase The importance and skill to develop a culture that aligns with and carries the church’s vision and values forward, not simply relying on preaching & programs. Additionally, the ability to develop a strategic plan and create measurable accountability for the lead pastor and staff.
Christianity is and always will be under attack in this world. Our hope is not in the false and lukewarm security of Christendom but the King of kings, who promises, “the gates of hell will not prevail against His church.”

It might be counterintuitive to the presuppositions of generational Boomers and Gen Xers, but the great dechurching is not primarily a product of the “great secularizing.” The dechurched, in large part, are hungry for more holistic and authentic spirituality…
The call of good news from our good God to an anxious world, “Repent…that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring...”
Acts 3:19-21
It’s critical to recognize that no generation or culture is inherently more agreeable to the gospel. The great de-churching is a shift from American Christendom, which invites us out of a malformed, cultural religion into a more robust, authentic Christian faith. #gospel

What will it take for Christians to begin to lead our communities again in creativity? For centuries, Christian theology served as a spark to imagination and innovation in both the classroom and the culture. How do we recapture that type of redemptive imagination?
