We must all do our part in the fight for freedom — from the workers in Scranton who make Pennsylvania the arsenal of democracy to the brave Ukrainian soldiers protecting their country.
We stand with Ukraine in their just defense of their homeland in the face of Russian aggression.
Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself. Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight — and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit. Last night didn’t change that, and it’s why so much is at stake in November. https://t.co/Tn2TQu5Djo
Wouldn’t complain of course, but this is a classic Biden move to make people like him right before he needs your votes without having to solve any actual problems. 🤪
BREAKING: President Biden is calling on Congress to give middle-class first-time homebuyers a $10,000 tax credit to help lower their monthly mortgage costs.
A bill in Congress would set the Pentagon’s budget at $886 billion — a $28 BILLION increase from last year.
But we’re told we can’t afford climate action or raise the minimum wage.
Our priorities are misaligned.
Of course, we wouldn’t necessarily need to do that if we just use some of the vast amount of wealth in this country to actually help the majority of people who live here, starting with everyone’s CHILDREN. But maybe that’ll eventually trickle down.
I would just like to give my annual reminder that it shouldn’t be considered normal that parents/teachers have to provide all of the necessary school supplies for their kids in public schools.
Schools need more money. Plain and simple. Money for students’ needs, teacher salaries, and facility maintenance. Yes, that means more taxes. I don’t care.
