@MadCapProf Associate deans- infra are given an extension. This might be a pure coincidence also. I assessed it as a result of the recent developments in the campus.

- No extension for Dean or Associate Deans (Students Affairs) at IIT Delhi while some of their colleagues get extension.
- No mention of Associate Dean (Student Welfare) or ADSW, whose resignation is being sought by students.
- New HoD Physics also appointed.(Some get extension)

@MadCapProf Prof. maybe the confusion is due to the word limit. I agree that ADSW's tenure is not ending on 31st August (infact it's till 16.03.27). I just wrote that the Dean and associate deans of students affairs section (ADHM and ADSE) didn't get an extension whereas dean-infra and ..

CheapTactics by IIT Admin and DelhiPolice continue. This time a proper cameraman (in civilian clothes) with policeman securing him recording protesters. Students oppose this cowardly action in security office. This is 5th day of the protest.

Director, IIT Delhi, threatens student of "disciplinary actions" over these "humiliating and threatening language in slogans".

"Aao professors bahar aao, aao humara saath do" is now threatening and humiliating. Call for help is now threatening and unsavoury.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has constituted a five-member External Inquiry Committee to investigate the circumstances leading to the death of a 31-year-old MSc Physics student: Sources to ANI

The committee consists of former Uttarakhand DGP and IIT Delhi alumnus Ashok Kumar, AIIMS New Delhi psychiatry department head Prof Pratap Sharma, two student representatives, and the institute’s Registrar, who will serve as secretary and convenor. The committee has been asked to submit its report within two weeks
