لماذا نشكر من يؤدي عمله؟
يمكن الواحد يتساءل: ليش نشكر موظف أو جهة حكومية على أداء واجبها؟ مو هذه مهامهم الأصلية التي يتقاضون عليها رواتبهم؟ السؤال مشروع، لكنه يحتاج إلى نظرة أعمق.
أولا، هناك مبدأ نبوي عظيم يقول: "من لا يشكر الناس لا يشكر الله"، وهو يرسخ قيمة الامتنان حتى لمن يؤدي واجبه، لأن التقدير لا يتعارض مع الإنصاف، بل يعبر عن الرقي في التعامل.
ثانيا، الشكر له أثر نفسي كبير. من يقدر عمله يتمسك به، ويلقى دافعا للاستمرار فيه وبالعكس لتقديم ما هو أفضل. البشر بطبعهم يميلون لمن يحسن إليهم ويعترف بفضلهم، ولو كان في إطار واجب.
ثالثاً، الشكر من المستفيدين مو مجاملة، بل هو شكل من أشكال التقييم المباشر. كما نلجأ إلى الشكوى عند التقصير، فمن باب العدل أن نشيد عند الإحسان.
رابعاً، تحسين الخدمات الحكومية امر مو هين، وغالبا ما يكون خلف الأداء الجيد موظف اجتهد، وتحدى قيود الروتين، وسعى لتقديم تجربة مريحة. هذا الجهد يستحق الإشادة.
وأخيرا، بناء ثقافة الامتنان في المجتمع يرفع الذوق العام، ويشجع على البذل والعطاء. الشكر لا يلغي الحقوق، بل يعلو بها ويحسن مناخها.
فلنشكر من يحسن، لا لأنه تجاوز واجبه، بل لأنه أخلص فيه.

في بريطانيا فيه ظاهرة غريبة تصير مرات ولها تأثير كبير على شبكة كهرباء البلد كله. الظاهرة هذه يسمونها "هجوم قوري الشاي البريطاني العظيم" أو The Great British Kettle Surge.

شنو قصتها:
الحكومة لاحظت أن شبكة الكهرباء فجأة يصير عليها ضغط شديد لدرجة أن الأحمال تفوق المعدل ... الضغط هذا يستمر فترات قصيرة ويروح. ولما درسوا الوضع تبين أن الضغط يصير بأوقات المباريات المهمة بين الشوطين أو خلال فترة الإعلانات بالمسلسلات والبرامج اللي لها شعبية كبيرة. اللي كان يصير أن مثلا أول ما يخلص الشوط الأول للمباراة، الكل يركض للمطبخ ويشغل قوري الشاي الكهربائي ... يعني كل البلد تسوي شاي بنفس الوقت لأن الانجليز معروفين بعشقهم للشاي.

خطة المواجهة صارت بأن الحكومة تنسق مع قنوات التلفزيون لتحديد اوقات الإعلانات والمباريات لتجهيز حمل كهربائي لتعويض كهرباء "الهجوم الشاهي".
هذا يوريك شلون ممكن عادات بسيطة، مثل شرب الشاي، أن يؤثر بشكل كبير على البنية التحتية للبلد.

من عادات الايطاليين الغريبة :

عدم غسل الوعاء الذي تُطبخ فيه قهوة "الاسبريسو" بالصابون ابدا، وذلك حماية للنكهة، ويعتقد الإيطاليون ان افضل قهوة يمكنك تذوقها هي التي تُحضر من وعاء لم يُغسل بالصابون ابداً منذ شرائه!
