Yesterday, I met with workers in Erie. Trump told them he would make Erie a manufacturing superpower and bring them sand to prevent erosion from the lake. The record -- no manufacturing jobs, no sand. Erie has lost manufacturing jobs and Trump has refused to fund the sand they need.

In Pittsburgh, I met with Rep. @ChrisForPA and joined a roundtable discussion with USW workers on how we can increase union density by demanding labor neutrality from federal contractors and grant recipients.

SEIU Healthcare workers from UPMC Magee Nurses Union told me just how important it is that they get a contract with staffing standards and that we pass Medicare for All. It is unconscionable that a single nurse is currently taking care of 6-7 patients when the guidelines require under 4.
