Oh, I think @HunterBiden is lining up for a shot at the White House in 2028.
Pis aller, as my French friends used to say. When you are a Biden who's $20 million in debt with no gainful employment, what else beckons?
@HunterBiden If you had a shred of respect for this country that you have exploited for decades for your own self-enrichment, you would have made yourself scarce after having gotten a blanket pardon for your crimes from your father. A minority in your position would be in prison if not dead.
We need to prepare ourselves to embrace that the U.S. Supreme Court after getting race wrong in multiple ways is now affirming the color blind constitution.
Many will oppose it for the threat it represents to race based progressive interests.
But fortune favors those who will defend a constitution built on the reality of the human person.
Must say this:
I don't think most Dems in Congress really want to be led around by the vicious semi-educated twerps who are their radical base. But they can't figure out how get out from under their whip hand.
So they go along not from conviction but cowardice.
I was invited to speak at the Oxford Union on Joe McCarthy. I didn't. I said, "This House under no circumstances will hear me discourse on McCarthy and McCarthyism in a rigged debate."
I have my moments.
Wow. THAT'S what Edward R Murrow WISHED he'd done instead of that silly "Good night etc."
He's in my biography of Joe McCarthy, BTW. Not the most flattering portrait, I'd say.
How Cronkitian. Nothing, however, compares to me on the closing shot licking the tip of my left index finger and then flipping the script pages with my right hand.
I'd say @brithume, with maybe Peter Jennings, who usually seemed pretty unassuming. Hard to say about earlier generations. David Brinkley probably is in this conversation somewhere. Maybe Bernard Shaw, too?
"Darkest moment experienced on this planet."
Gee, I guess Auschwitz, Dachau, the Soviet gulag, and Mao's Great Leap Forward, all look like child's play compared to Trump's desire to build a ball room at the White House.
Glad these geniuses are there to get our priorities right.
He's lost. A lost soul, like so many in his party.
The moral compass got lost in a Woke fog, that drifted in (I'm sorry to say) from the American left.
The Platner case is emblematic of the problem Democrats have right now.
They know these sick extremists can only hurt them, e.g. Hasan Piker, but they lack the guts to chase them out.
This is a moral failure as well as a political one.
I have to say, I *am* enjoying this.
Watching people who leveled spurious allegations of Nazism at everyone who they didn't like now have to publicly defend a man with a literal Totenkopf tattoo on his chest is pretty wonderful. Some deep, deep schadenfreude going on here.
Graham Platner is clearly a very sick person.
What's also sick is that Democrats can't confront him for what he is, but have to rely on media leaks to get him out the race and out of their hair.
Bizarre!
