Andy Burnham is reportedly rushing through plans to scrap photo ID requirements at polling stations.
Labour is housing illegal migrants in communities across virtually every postcode in Britain, and now wants to weaken voter identification rules.
This raises serious questions about electoral integrity and whether Labour believes its immigration policies will translate into future electoral support.
Illegal migrants are not entitled to vote, and removing photo ID requirements would not change that.
But why is Labour making these changes, and what safeguards will replace the existing checks?
The British public deserve answers.
Snake Oil "Pandy" Burnham is ramming through the Representation of the People Bill in record time and minimal scrutiny.
Why?
Could it possibly be because it removes the legal requirement to produce photo ID at polling stations?
After the bill receives Royal Assent even ID's like bank cards will be accepted. It's nowhere near the same level of assurance.
Not by a million miles.
Why the rush?
Why not rush through legislation to tackle the channel crossing crisis?
Because he's preparing for a snap election.
And he'll do anything to win, whether it's a level playing field or not, whether it's morally right or not.
Mark my words on this.
And if the right isn't prepared... well abandon hope all ye Brits.
Andy Burnham became PM without winning a General Election, slipping in via a by-election and internal party manoeuvres. Now he’s weakening the very safeguards that protect a fair vote.
He is pushing for no photo ID's at polling stations, allowing bank cards with no photo.
@BethanyMiles__ He is a disgrace, a fraud, a criminal investigation should also be carried out regarding his involvement with the UAE investors and others within Labour.
And now he wants to rig the voting system, I hope parliament step in to stop this as it opens up our voting system to fraud.
@20NPHartleyHare I’m surprised she hasn’t jumped ship, possibly Welsh Labour?
She’s a selfish charlatan, “it’s all about me, me, me” - she should be thrown out of government, we don’t want people like her in Welsh politics. @SarahCLesadd
@PolitlcsUK@andyburnham This is disgraceful and should be investigated, this is not what we want in government, we need fairness and a level playing field. You should not be allowed to interfere with our democracy by attempting to rig elections.
@AvonandsomerRob Utter Bollox - The award highlights practical equal treatment and programs serving women, disabled people, and broader communities under Reform leadership rather than ideological DEI frameworks.
@MissLauraMarcus We live in a leftist world with a left government and media outlets, hence why the Right are always being attacked and victimised. The one biggest problem in this world today is that left are being protected and promoted.
