i like how their first instinct is "it’s fake food" and not "it’s poor quality produce that wasn’t conserved properly in the supply chain" so now instead of advocating for better food regulations they just spat out conspiracy theories online

So as the guy translating it, I'm pulling it out of my ass because I mentioned it? To be fair, it's the easiest CURRENT comparison for folks, despite the creatures only being in chapter one. Folks don't have to read it to know they exist in it. Sure, SEED's whale and 00's ELS are just as easy go-to, but there's plenty more. You think people are going to know about Hidden Shadow, Jupiter Mirage or something like the Kaida manga? No.
@StormOneActual@TheGumGun@Akai_Ookami5051 I haven't really heard of the controversy over Eight aside from that one guy that felt it fell off, with ZeonicScans pointing out it was only around 3 chapters in.
Also, we don't know if humans aren't going to be an enemy type too (like Eight showing MS vs MS).
Ok, these new missions look amazing!
It sucks I won't be able to play this game, but it definitely feels like Shadow Gen where the remastered/remake was essentially the bonus.
I ain't complaining about that honestly. I can always play original CE.
Experience Halo like never before.
Halo: Campaign Evolved arrives on July 28, including three brand new missions set one year before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved.

@StormOneActual@TheGumGun@Akai_Ookami5051 There's no necessity for something to be at least a year old for precedence though.
I also said projects as in plural: 00, Hidden Shadow of G, Turn A Winds of the Moon, and Jupiter Mirage are other examples of fighting aliens.
I brought up Eight considering the complex designs
@YoncleThinks If it's that, then it'd literally be one of the ideas I've been thinking about.
Like, if we want human drama, imagine what it'd be like if the survivors fracture over what decisions to make and essentially make a war anyway.
In the RedLetterMedia video where this quote comes from, they were making fun of Star Wars fans pogging over their reheated OT nostalgia nachos.
Using that quote in response to Gundam fans saying they're excited for something that's different...the irony is palpable, dare i say!
@taokami3@A_Laviola23@mechaconfess What's funny is that the golden boy if UC makes what's a Gundam the most confusing.
We have fake Gundams, Gundams that don't look like Gundams, etc.
@JAGtheJager I think the second point needs to be acknowledged.
Like, if the armor among others were announced for this premium bundle, we would've had complaints about having to buy them.
The fanbase should at least wait until the game is out.
@maowrinn Funnily enough, when I heard of one of the unused US live action projects from way back that did use aliens, I was wondering about a project that'd do something like that.
Like, I wonder how humanity would deal w) itself in such an alien and dangerous game of survival.
@TheGumGun@StormOneActual@Akai_Ookami5051 We've also literally have had projects like this.
The ongoing Gundam Eight manga began with a fight against Kaijus, and it's gone back to showcase how they're going to get there with the usual Gundam conventions.
