It is great to be back at @DavidsonCollege after 46 years. The tour by Davidson students of the dormitory where I stayed during my year on campus brought back fond memories. Thank you, President Hicks for sharing stories of your time in the Sentelle Hall dorm. -Ambassador Tomita
I just introduced an amendment changing the name of Rep. Grijalva's anti-Arizona bill to the “Enhancing Soviet and Chinese Uranium Dominance Act.”
Grijalva's bill would lock up land in Northern Arizona, kill American jobs, and make us more reliant on Russian & Chinese uranium.
The Chambers flagpole was lowered to half-staff today in remembrance of Patrick Braxton-Andrew ’06. We offer our sincere condolences to Patrick’s family and all of those in the Davidson community that knew him.
NC teacher Patrick Braxton-Andrew has been missing in Mexico since Sunday. My staff is actively working w/ the @StateDept, and Mexican law enforcement are conducting an extensive search. Please keep Patrick, his family & the communities of Mooresville & Davidson in your prayers.
EMERGENCY REQUEST: My friend and fellow @DavidsonCollege alumnus is missing near Urique, Mexico. If anyone has any contacts in Mexico or the US government who may be able to help, please help! More details here: https://t.co/zPk7NZfoPq
