I'm working at the University of Alberta and we're looking for canola fields with high flea beetle pressure (striped or crucifer) for beetle collection.

If you’ve seen heavy damage or know of affected fields we could access, please reply.

It’s critical to know whether you have resistance before spraying certain insecticides for alfalfa weevil control.
We are piloting rapid testing kits this season and looking for Alberta seed producers who are interested in having their weevils tested. Get in touch for yours.

And ASCA field trial season is underway! Late last week we began with our herbicide trial applied to one field and the second field is due this week.
