Today, many were shocked by yet another video of the drone “safari” Russians are carrying out against civilians in Kherson. A Russian drone deliberately hunted down a man selling vegetables and detonated right next to him. The Russians even admitted to the crime, showing zero regret and openly boasting about tormenting people. The man was wounded in the blast. Every single day, ordinary people in Kherson face these Russian "safaris."

The world must see this. It must see every piece of evidence that Russia has gone mad and that its soldiers take pleasure in killing and abusing civilians. Without pressure on Russia, the dismantling of its capacity for aggression, and real security guarantees, it is simply impossible to imagine the world being able to coexist with this evil. We must remain resolute in defending life. We must act and support life in ways that force Russia to seriously think about peace rather than expanding the range of its drones.

This is not just about Ukraine. Russia’s campaign against human life must be stopped here in Ukraine before it spreads further. Finland and Kazakhstan, the Baltic states and Poland, the countries of the South Caucasus, Romania, and Moldova—all should work together to ensure real security guarantees and bring Russia’s war to an end. Peace is needed, which requires cooperation among everyone in the world who truly values peace. Thank you to everyone standing with Ukraine!

A farewell ceremony for the Voronov family in Radushne, Dnipropetrovsk region.

Dad Artem (47), Mom Olena (41), their sons Mark (17) and Azarii Ilai (11), and their youngest daughter Emiliia (6), were killed by Russia.

A Russian missile strike completely destroyed their home. Five more children, including their 1.5-year-old grandson, Artem, remain missing.

"He called me and said, 'Our son is gone...' Those words hit me like a stone. I'll remember them for the rest of my life," Artem's mom shared.

✨ After announcing my return to visual anonymity, I received several comments that frankly disappointed me. They were all too formulaic, filled with stereotypical templates. Of course, I understand why some people were upset, but that’s not really the point. Though, if I were in their shoes, I would have found joy in it—after all, they gained access to something exclusive that future readers won't get: a glimpse of the author's real appearance :)

What truly disappointed me were the prevalent stereotypes regarding AI and sexuality. People rally against AI as if it were some inherent evil. This is actually a widespread global trend, one that strongly resembles the protest movements of the last century when machinery began replacing factory workers and people revolted. To some extent, I understand; I myself strongly dislike poor-quality AI content, especially when it's passed off as a real video. Perhaps some people are afraid of being deceived, but how can AI truly deceive you? Usually, you can see quite clearly when it is AI. However, that’s not the case here, as I explicitly and openly stated I was using AI.

Blame doesn't lie with the weapon, but with the one who fires it. One could just as easily be angry at a pen because a bad person used it to write something awful; but a genius will use that same pen to write a masterpiece. Does that awful person's work justify banning the pen? AI is a tool. Sure, you can whip something up quickly for poor-quality content, but creating an flawless image requires genuine, hard effort, a developed mind, logic, and the patience to create dozens of variations, constantly improving the result until it truly becomes art. Of course, it’s not the same as being a traditional painter, nor is it the same as being a photographer, but no one is attempting to infringe upon their work. This feels more akin to creating a custom 3D game character that lives outside the game itself. No one gets angry at 3D artists, character modelers, or video game developers for this. In my view, using an AI avatar is infinitely better than taking some stranger's photo from the internet; here, the authorship remains intact, and you aren’t just creating a character randomly—they have a story. I shared my character’s story in my message about AI.

By the way, AI only pertains to the visuals. I have no intention of using AI to write my texts. I write every word myself; I only use AI for translation into English because my English is not perfect. In the past, sometimes the AI would drastically alter the text, smoothing it out and replacing my original phrases with its own. I noticed this only much later, and it created an AI-like sound. I now carefully check to ensure that doesn’t happen. My only major change is that I abandoned ChatGPT due to its excessive censorship, which, in my opinion, literally violates freedom of speech and human rights. I switched to Gemini, which is freer in that regard and more affordable. It does like to comment on the text in addition to translating it. Rarely, if a comment contains an interesting sentence or two, I might add it to my own text. But I don’t see a problem with AI in general. Even though I have an education in a field that AI will displace first, I am not angry about it. I see the vast possibilities that can be achieved and the new types of human employment that will emerge to replace those taken over by AI. In my view, this signifies human development and growth. Perhaps people will finally start thinking about higher things? I hope so...

The other part of the feedback was outrage regarding sexuality. I completely fail to understand this current trend. Since ancient times, a woman's beauty and sexuality have been emblems of femininity, symbolizing birth, rebirth, fertility, and the harvest. All of this carries massive and profound symbolism. In Ancient Greece, the body was not considered something shameful at all; in former times, humanity lived in harmony with nature. It is only now that a sick society has begun to perceive nature as blasphemous, started to turn against it, and began forbidding women from being women. Taboos on beauty and sexuality have arisen, essentially turning into sexism. In films and games, female characters are being replaced with masculine-looking ones, creating the false impression that women and men are no different. Men and women are different, but they are complementary—they can only fully exist together. Sexism has no place here. For me, sexuality is simply beauty. It is the beauty that must save the world; beauty that can capture the attention of people who otherwise have no interest in serious topics and do not read anything profound. If my sensual avatar attracts some "Vatnik" (pro-Russian simpleton) who has only ever heard about the war from Russian sources and has no idea what is actually happening, and he ends up seeing the truth here, where is the problem? He clearly wouldn't start by reading a long, detailed article on causes and consequences. Furthermore, I didn't choose this persona at random; I am also an erotic writer. For a very long time, I was too ashamed to show my stories to people, and when I did try, I was attacked, as if writing about serious topics meant I was forbidden from writing about sexuality. It’s strange, but back then, I bought into it and hid my creative work. Now, if you are interested, those stories are available via the link in my bio. Subscribing to that blog supports my work and my life in Ukraine just as much as subscribing to this patriotic blog does.

So, let's cast aside the labels of a foolish society and stop acting like the Russians, who demonstrate their primitive thinking by commenting something about "prostitutes" and "OnlyFans" under every photo where a woman dares to have even a minimal V-neckline. If we want to be free, then let us be free and cast off the chains of these limitations! I would sooner vote for a completely naked politician who has sound policies in their program than for their impeccably dressed opponent with populist slogans and a superficial platform—though I know people in any country would choose the second option. And that truly reminds me of Ray Bradbury's story "The Dead Man"...

Such a non-reaction would have been unimaginable before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. There would have been strong measures immediately taken.
But, over time, outrages have been normalised and even rationalised to the point where they are no longer considered outrageous.
So I have to ask — what other aggressions would also be greeted with a shrug? Destroying critical infrastructure? Killing people? How many?
The promise to defend every inch has now been broken, so how many more inches are we going to let go?

Will Putin's death stop the war? It will. As of now, Putin's death is the only quick way to stop the war.
His death will lead to a destabilization of power inside Russia and will start its reshuffle.

However, for Russia not to form a cult of Putin after that (same as what happened to the cult of Stalin), a public humiliation of the dictator is needed: a public demonstration of his weakness, inability to control the situation and him losing his reputation of a strong leader.

Russia's military failures and strikes inside Russia are Putin's largest pain points: burning Russian oil refineries and warehouses; Ukrainian drones flying over Moscow and St Petersburg. Putin was humiliated and weak when he asked for Ukraine's permission to hold the May 9th parade at the Red Square.

Humiliation is Putin's greatest fear. This is his vulnerability. A weak and humiliated Putin will no longer be a legitimate leader for Russians.

Putin and Putin's Russia have already lost. But he needs to be pushed even more to end the war on just terms and stop the suffering of Ukrainians.
This is exactly what Ukrainian Defense Forces and our Allies are doing, and we need to maximize all efforts on all levels now.
